Say OKC drafts Rubio...
Westbrook has said to the press hes not ok with moving over to the 2 spot so would it be at all possible we could pick him up from OKC for Martin? I think Martin for Westbrook would be a prefect trade for both teams...

OKC gets Rubio and Martin
Sac gets Westbrook and Harden

What do you guys think?

Salaries aren't even close. Not sure what OKC's cap situation is but they'd have to be significantly under the cap for this to work straight up.

If possible, I may consider it (was a big fan of Westbrook's coming out of college). OKC would then have the skinniest 1/2/3 combo in the history of the NBA

Hoopshype has them at 42M. The difference would be adding on about 6.5M, meaning they'd even have room for a free agent if they wanted it, or take on salary in another trade.

I think it would be a really good trade for both sides honestly. OKC gets a pure distributor to go with a deadly 2/3 scoring combo.

I really like Harden and Westbrook both and think that would be a very complimentary 1/2 combo. Only question is whether OKC would rather just have that younger/cheaper combo themselves.

Would be a great deal. I really like Harden and that would be the best possibility to get him and a good young point guard.

i'd do this trade if okc also takes nocioni or beno, trading kmart for unproven harden which im not a big fan of, i dont think i'll like. ima tyreke fan, but like the poster above stated id rather trade martin for the #2 pick and give them beno to sweeten the deal hahah.

Not everyone wants to give up on Martin. In fact, there's a pretty slim response to this and most trade talks that involve Kevin.

its not that everyone wants to trade martin, its the fact that martin is our most valuable player and has the highest stock

Why does everyone want to give up on Kmart? Westbrook cant shoot a lick.

Kevin Martin is by far my favorite player in the NBA. It would definitely be a bit of a bummer see what Kevin would do with a solid point guard on another team, I really believe he would be at an All Star level.

a martin 23rd and 31st for 2nd and collison plus fillers sounds better for both parties

for our side we keep the 4th take harden or evans with it... use the 3rd to draft rubio (if hes on the boards)

for okc side they get that 2 guard in martin and 2 more picks...
