After watching the Warriors last night, and hearing Don Nelson's post game comments, if Petrie called Chris Mullin today and offered Kenny Thomas for Adonal Foyle or Troy Murphy, that deal would get done today.
I feel the same way about Thomas as most people. I have since he whined about starting on last year. If Kings could get Foyle or Murphy for Thomas, that would help this ball club.

I take acception to this....I was a KT apologist before you even joined this board. I would like a teammate though

One game in? you all are already all over kt one game in. I have had my doubts about this site for some time. Somedays some real basketball knowledge goes into the posts on this site. Other days like today some of you are just clueless.
Kt pulled away from ron last night cause he just blown a lay up. What do you want him to do? smile and give ron a big hug for just pointing out he just blew a lap. Exactly, K9 is not good in the locker room or on the court. He has a me 1st attitude, me 1st anytime and needs to be dealt. I don't care if he has little to no trade value, he is a problem and will not go away on his own. He should at least be benched for a game or 2 like KMart in Denver for "actions detrimental to the team." I wouldn't mind if Artest smacked him up a bit, but then Ron would get in trouble, maybe in private then.

There are many different people who post on this site. Some have a lot of basketball knowledge, others are just fans who are happy to cheer with passion without learning every single nuance. Some post exaggerated comments to get attention, others do so because they are passionate about their team. Some exaggerate in an attempt to get their points across, and still others exaggerate in response. Considering the forum statistics section quotes over 700 active members, I don't think it should surprise you that there are very different comments posted at different times here.
We need to hold elections for the KT apologist club so that I can use as my title on this site. We also need a catchie phrase like "leave KT alone he's cute as the dickens" or "I'm an acumin your an acumin wouldn't you like to be an acumin too!" I don't want to be president tooooo much pressure, not too mention Hawk scares me and VF has ripped me a few times also, and Brick is just way over my head. So maybe vice-president or treasure or somthing like that. But we need to hold elections soon before KT misses another Bunny!

I made this post to comment on his attitude. I'm not commenting on his play (which i dont think was that looking at circumstances.) However, I've just made this observation of Kenny Thomas every since he was on the Rockets. He had some attitude issues there before they traded him and he was a mitfit in philly. This is just a constant issue with him that's always been with him and appears that will always BE with him.
He needs a coach who's tough to straighten him up. He just doesnt have that "it" that you see in winners.

We're Sacramento Kings fans. What we've seen from the beginning is what we're saying here. You don't understand that we don't give a rat's patoot about how nice he is, or whatever insider stuff you may know. What we care about is how he acts in the uniform of the Sacramento Kings. I've said it before so I'm sorry for repeating myself BUT around here we care more about the name on the front than the name on the back. Thomas just doesn't subscribe to that philosophy and he's made no apparent attempt to meet us half-way.
