Just an observation...

Gary

All-Star
When the Kings say they are going to come out strong and improve play, and show some balls they play well.

When it's just a normal day with a normal game it seems they come out cold, and don't play well together.

Do they need a kick in the *** every time they play? It seems like they feed off of negativity for one or two games, than revert back to their woeful ways. It's kind of got me wondering if sooner or later they will just despise the media and the fans lack of cheering for them on through thick and thin, and turn themselves into a Portland of a couple years ago.

I wonder if we have a couple strong personalities on the team that are painting the guys that have been here for a few years into a corner.

Say your at work, and a few peopel come to work for the same company but they are a bit negative, and have strong personalities. A few of the "good guys" might change sides, and become something that they wouldn't have if these guys weren't there in the first place. I hope this does not happen to our team, and the coach can see this and make sure they are booted.

Gary,

It's Utah.

Utah.

Say it - U-T-A-H.

They're terrible. If we were doing this against a team that didn't just shoot 29% ... I'd be impressed. :D

Let's do it back to back ...

It's only happened twice. Once was against an apparently disinterested (aside from Camby) Denver Nuggets team and the other is tonight against the Jazz without Kirilenko. Both at home. I don't put any significance on either win or the circumstances. It's a coincidence.

Comparatively, New Orleans was filled with All Stars, and on their home floor.

Tonight was easily one of the worst lineups I've seen fielded in the NBA. And their best player, a 6th/7th man last year, gave them nothing to boot. Just ugly stuff. And I don't think they ever really even thought they were competing tonight. Never got any idea that they were remotely concerned with winning. Just surviving.

Its called winning a game not coincidence a w is a w in the nba

I'm saying it's a coincidence that their "backs were against the wall" twice and they won the next game pretty handily each time. You can't take anything significant or new away from those games. The team you saw in the wins is the same as the team you saw in the losses.

Yeah I'm not saying this team has improved at all till I see a winning streak, and the games they lose they are actually in and fighting till the end. So far the games they have lost they get down by 10 either in the first or at latest 2nd quarter and they are never able to recover. That's not being in the game and fighting til the end. I want to see a consistant effort EVERY night until I say hey this team is starting to come together. This includes the bench

As far as negativity I don't really sense any negativity from the Kings as a whole. The only person I partiall sensed negativity from was K9 about the starting/backup role.
