Thing is, if the front office was reluctant to try for Dorell Wright because we weren't sure it would be enough of an upgrade (as I've mentioned before, stacking up all these worthless SFs has damn near pinned us as we just can't afford to miss again), then its hard ot see how they would justify picing up guys like Webster or Childress either. All just very much Salmons/Garcia level just-another-NBA-swingman level guys. You could pick any of them up. But would you know you had gotten any better by it?
Now the flip of that is if you as a front office are going to draw that line then you better have plans on how to get a GOOD one in town (Iggy?) to justify all this hemming and hawing and sitting on hands.
He is cheap, average, a SF that can't shoot. Pretty much the sort of cheap option we would be looking at and say how he is such a great player that he got paid ****loads of money to go and play for Olympiakos a few years back!
