Reddick may have other problems facing him, as he was just arrested on a DWI...which indicates, to me, he's not smart enough to stay out of trouble for the short period of time until draft day.
I'd say pass...
If he fell to 19 I'd def. take him. JJ, Bibby, and Miller would create a lot of space for our post players.
What's a DWI? That sounds like having a couple drinks, getting pulled over a little too far from home, and the cop feels like being the guy who arrested JJ Redick? It's not brilliant, but it's not riding a crotch-rocket sans helmet either.

Reddick though...mentioned before this guy has Steve Alford written all over him. Classically undersized/can't defend college guard who comes inoto the NBA and is overmatched every night by the size/speed he faces.
Maybe he's the special one that overcomes all that. But history has bad things to say about 6'4" college shooters hitting the NBA. Its like 6'1" OGs and 6'7" centers. Great in college, but bump them up to the next level, and rarely physically able to compete. Big time bust potential there. Of course I guess the flipside is that there's probably bust potential to any #19. But it has a distinctly Bobby Hurleyesque air to it.
I don't support what JJ did, even if he made that mistake because he was pissed because of the back surgery he's gonna have to get, but he HAS been getting too much heat for this.
Everyone here knows more than one person that drove with alcohol in their blood atleast once in their life. Some people get caught some people don't.
AND alot of defensive breakdowns which would lead to EZ *** POINTS FOR THE OTHER TEAM. PASS THE BOWL OF CHILI BRO. aren't you sick of seeing the other team break down our perimeter defense which causes our team defense to collapse. i don't know if you saw the spurs kings series but parker was strolling through the lane way too easily. oh don't forget about our offensively talented center who creates alot of space for our post players - brad miller who just watched as the spurs guards did lay up drills on us. i'd like to see us ship him out if we could get something good in return.
Will JJ be a bust? It might happen no doubt. IMO, it all depends on how whichever team that drafts him, uses his abilities. I will even go as far as to say that he probably would of even been a bust in college if Duke wouldn't of used him properly.
And for god's sake people it's REDICK. 1 D![]()
Huh? The guy was the player of the year...Duke could have done everything short of playing him at Center and he wouldn't have been a bust...sheesh...
I watch a ton...can you explain how JJ would be a bust in college though? I don't get it...
WOW. For someone that is so high on "saints" like Bonzi and Ron you sure are giving Redick some hate. I find it quite amusing that before this whole DWI incident (which I might add is quite stupid BTW), A LOT of people were calling him a choir boy because he had a very low-profile off-court demeanour since that whole freshman marijuana incident.

The alcohol limit is .08 and he was at .11 . He was over the limit and breaking the law but it's not like he was s***faced either. Everyone here knows more than one person that drove with alcohol in their blood atleast once in their life. Some people get caught some people don't. As a celibrity, of course people are gonna blow it out of proportion and make a huge deal out of this. And yeah, i'm sure the constant hate Duke basketball players get from many people surely didn't help either.
JJ Redick made a mistake. Like we all have more than once in our lives.
