All-Star
Would anyone consider drafting him in the first round and trading Thornton for someone who fits nicely next to Cousins? I love Lamb's size and athleticism. He would be a great defender to add to this team and wouldn't be a bad shooter either.
Would it be possible to pry Favors away from Utah? It could work considering they have Millsap, Jefferson, and Kanter as their other big men. Their main guards are Harris, Earl Watson, Raja Bell, and C.J. Miles. Thornton would give them an immediate scoring presence in their backcourt (all 4 of those players are averaging below 10 points).
Now I know it might not be Thornton for Favors straight up, but it would be something close to it.
If we sign a free agent small forward and amnesty Salmons our lineup could look like this next year:
PG - Evans/Thomas/Fredette
SG - Lamb/Garcia
SF - Batum/Honeycutt/Outlaw
PF - Favors/Hayes
C - Cousins/Thompson/Whiteside
