It was reported today via tweeter by Jason Jones that Jason Thompson has fracture in his big right toe. Apparently not a serious injury, but will require his wearing a walking boot for 4 to 6 weeks. He didn't report how he broke the toe, but I assume it was working out.

I had an injury to that same spot, the sesamoid bone, and it's very painful. It's hard to walk around on that's for sure. I injured mine by jumping down and landing too hard on some concrete. Get better JT.

It's unfortunate that it had to happen but if it had to happen it's better now then when the season starts up. JT is a reliably player though so I expect him to play at least 80 games next seasnon.
