Jared Cunningham anybody?

So it appears the Clippers have traded former Kings G Jared Cunningham and cash to the 76ers for I don't know? The 76ers are expected to waive him once the trade is complete.

I think the Kings should bring him back and at least give him a 10-day deal. Maybe get him some backup minutes behind McLemore because Stauskas really needs to be sent to Reno or be benched because he simply is not really for rotation minutes.

Thoughts?

I think it's good to think of signings in terms of the bench.

Ray - Becoming reliable
Nik - Not yet reliable (keep at it Rookie!)
Williams - Becoming reliable
Landry - Reliable
Evans - Somewhat reliable
Hollins - ???

We can develop Ray, Nik, and Williams in order to build for the future whilst their skills reflect that of bench players. In addition, the Kings would maintain a sense of stability in loyalty. Landry and Evans will be out soon, so any new guy coming into the Kings should be a big guy, preferably 6'11+

I'd rather develop Nik than play some guy who has no future with the team. We aren't losing because of Stauskas.

I don't have an opinion on Cunningham, but NBA players need to stay far far away from Reno.

Nik is going to have to find his groove at the NBA level. Be patient.
