It was a very simple example, but apparently not simple enough. If you're unable to keep up perhaps you shouldn't be engaging in these types of debates.

A player who just turned 26 two months ago, who has had a grand total of 1 perennially injured Grant Hill, and one young and overrated Yao to work with in his 5 years of elite play, and is now leading a team on the way up is only written off as a failure by somebody without any understanding whatsoever of the normal maturation process and prime of a player's career.

About ONEZERO's argument pertaining to Tracy McGracy. McGrady, considering the hype he's had, he's earned it.
