It's Official....

Miller's performance in this series was shameful. I'm not sure what happened to him. He made it into this league on hard work and hussle and that is nowhere to be found now. I hate to give up on a talented, very uniquely skilled center but his lack of effort is inexcusable.

As for Kenny, I don't think he is a winner. He's a Tisdale type player that can put up some nice fantasy numbers over a season but doesn't seem to have the drive/desire to be a big contributor on a winning team.

So, long answer: yeah they probably need to go. The bigger challenge is what and who do you get in return.

It's not official, and no one needs to go.

Let's let this team actually play with each other for more than three months, and see what they can accomplish. Yes, Miller sucked. Fine. I don't care. We know he's capable of much, much more.

And that's what TDOS is for. To talk about what changes you think need to be made, etc.

I'm resuming my push to get Kevin Garnett.

;)

And I am restating my willingness to do whatever's necessary -- including staging and, if need be, participating in blackmail photographs -- to make next year's starting five include Bibby, Bonzi, Artest and Garnett.

He isn't capable of doing much more, otherwise he would have. He lacks the heart and toughness for this kind of stage. He is as good as gone.

Now that would be a thing of BEAUTY!!!!

Ummm...yes, Kenny is a whiner. He complained about not starting. A player has to be ready regardless if he starts or not. He put up decent #'s when he did start however, lousy #'s when he didn't. Its all in your mind set if you really want to do good and he made up his mind that if he wasn't starting, he didn't put up any good #'s.

that's why I'm for cutting him if there's no takers.

For doing what???

To what end?
We'll let see... if you don't start him (and he's not a great starter at all).. what use is he? If he can't be thrown into a deal by the time the deadline comes you might as well.

HAHA! I was wondering who would say that after I thought about what I said. Dirty, dirty mind;) :D

There are many MANY worse players in the league than Kenny Thomas. Some of them on our own roster.

Unless I am mistaken, waived players continue to count against your capo. Except you no longer have the player. Since the contracts are guaranteed, I also imagine that you have to keep on paying them unless someone else picks them up.

I call dibs as cameraman!! :D

Here we go. Imagine how hard it is for these guys to come out and play the 2nd best team in the league, and the 1st best team at attacking our weakest points. Sure, Brad has a lot to do with our weaknesses, but he could also be a big part of the positives moving forward.

You are not mistaken.

And even that doesn't end your obligation; you continue to eat that salary for the rest of that season, at the *least*

I have my doubts. We just tested him, indeed the entire frontline, in EXACTLY the environment we would need to be able to suceed in to ever win a title. And they failed. Abjectly.

Test over. Now you take what you learned and make changes.

Brad looks like he is more interested in going hunting. He looks like he does not want to play the game of basketball. Bye-bye.

KT had a tough assignment and hustled. He worked hard on TD and definitely slowed him down.

There are better, but there are also a lot worse.
