You asked a question. He answered. It's not "hate"... please keep your comments about the topic at hand and not the people making them. Thanks ever so...

Now, my response? Not interested in either player.

Redick, since he is only making #11 money and not #3. I still think he will eventually settle in to a Jason Kapono/Steve Kerr type role somewhere, as off-the-bench shooting. I liked him coming out of college, but was shocked he was taken that high.

I prefer Walter Herrmann, with no draft pick, at $1.8M.

rofl Same. Also I think Redick will be a lot better than Morrison. I think he might eventually be a 3rd or 4th guy on the Magic if he reaches his potential. His stats aren't as good as Morrison's but he had back problems earlier that messed up his shot at PT right away and he didn't get to play much. I don't want either on the Kings but I think Redick has a chance to be decent/ok guy who hits open 3 pointers while Morrison... just another scorer in college whose game doesn't translate well in the NBA.

In a similarly fascinating debate, who do you guys think is better: Nazr Mohammed or Lorenzen Wright? ;)

Tehre is nothing to see on the Reddick/Morrison front. A few years down the road those names will probably mean very little. Reddick never had any hope at his size/athleticism. Thought Morrison might have an outside shot just wiht his moxie, but Iif anything I underestimated just how badly his own lack of athleticism was going to hurt him. Has no posiiton, and his defense is completely hopeless.

Morrison is better at this stage, still he was picked way too high. I don't even remember where Reddick was picked but if it was 1st round it was also too high. As others have pointed out this was a big who cares which is why I'm not going to bother looking it up.

I wouldn't want either on this team, but I might consider Nazr or LoWright.

I would love adam morrison on the kings. remember mister 16?? how was he his rookie year? sacramento fell in love with him. was there hype for peja?.......no sacramento was pissed we took him. could he rebound? could he play defense in 1 year 1, no. I think adam will come back next year alot stonger. he will have a new coach and might have jordan helping him. please lets say Vince Carter goes there that will take pressure off of him.

didn't it take martin 3 years with pete caril modifying his shot for him to be in the MIP talk?

My friend, you are fascinated with over-hyped, soft players. I mean, Morrison and McRoberts. . .doesn't get softer than those two. Peja was taken in the middle of the first, not #3. You expect an immediate impact from a #3 pick. Peja could always bury shots by the way.

I am really surprised at how quickly many posters have already given up on these two. They were the top dog on their college teams and now they are settling into a reserve role. Morrison imparticular needs to work on better shot selection but they can become good players in what was indeed a weak draft.

Nope. Martin hasn't modified his shot. Pete Carrill worked with him on extending his range out to the NBA three-point line and other various things.

As far as giving up on players go, people need to remember the average career span for players who even make it into the NBA is only about three years. The OP asked which of the two - Morrison or Redick - people would want on the Kings and why. I think it's pretty clear the prevailing opinion is we wouldn't want either.

Right there.

I hope you're not comparing Adam Morrison to Peja Stojakovic. I think that's a terrible comparison.
