If you were coach, who would you use as a starting 5 for the rest of the year?

The only thing clear to me is the front court rotation. it's going to be one hell of a struggle to balance offense and defense in the lineups without destroying the other lineup.

dalembert / thompson
cousins / landry

for example, if we were to put casspi as the back up SF, teams will run the pick and roll against Landry + Casspi and as a result, Landry will get lost on defense after hedging, Casspi is gonna get demolished on the screen, and thompson is going to foul out before the half trying to cover for them.

I'll go with this lineup:

Starters:

C - Dalembert
PF- Cousins
SF- Greene
SG - Garcia
PG - Evans

On offense:
- Maximize on halfcourt plays and using our length, Garcia and Cuz on the pick and roll(Garcia is more potent than Reke shooting from perimeter and Cuz is more creative offensively than Dally), Reke drive and kick, alley-ops for Donte, Cuz, or Dally (when you got three 6'11" guys on the court somehow, someone would get that ball)

On defense:
- Man-to-man and just keep clogging the lanes with 3 near 7 ft players
------

Bench:

PG - Udrih
SG - Wright/Head
SF - Casspi
PF - Landry/Thompson
C - Whiteside/Jackson

On offense:
Udrih-Landry pick and roll, all offense for Beno, if we get Beno-Head backcourt play a fast game.
On defense:
Except for maybe Wright or Head this bench does not offer much on this dept. So just run-gun like Suns. ;)
A Thompson-Whiteside frontline may not offer much against big bodies but I think they can outrun most of the frontlines

WHA?!?!
Just as good of 18 fter as Landry?
What is this statement based on?
LAST YEAR?
It is factually inaccurate from this year, since JT has maybe made 2 shots of more than 10 ft this entire season so far. I'd love to have access to a website that shows how many 18 fters JT has made this year as opposed to Landry (or Darnell Jackson, for that matter).
And ball movement? I guess you haven't noticed how many times JT has looked absolutely laughable when he gets the ball outside the paint and there's a defender guarding him. The man cannot create his own shot.

And he can't pass for crap, either. He's getting he same amount of assists as Landry, and I know there's been a lot of wide-open misses by Landry's teammates when he gets it to them underneath (or DMC is fouled when Landry has set him up).

Landry's had 2 sub-par games (after 4 GREAT games), and he's still averaging 14+ pts a game and creating his own shot.
You guys are suggesting removing those 14 pts from the board when the Kings desperately need them and his plays. As much as you guys don't like him shooting that 18 ft jump shot, it's one of the few plays that is occasionally scoring for the Kings this year.

The amount of painfully-dumb plays that would be made with a starting lineup of JT and DMC would be off the charts - it would make lowlight reels league-wide.

Last year Thompson was money in the bank at that distance. The main difference I see this year is that he hasn't had the chance to play very much. He may not be our answer but it wouldn't hurt my feelings to see Westphal start him at PF. Money in the bank at 18 feet. I haven't seen Landry do any better at that distance.

Id go with exactly how it is now. If DMC progresses well then id slot him in over Dally. We just have to let this lineup gel and our offense will flow

ENOUGH lineup changes please.

Head
Reke
Donte
Landry
Dalembert

MAYBE Cousins starts down the road. MAYBE. But I've had enough tinkering. Lets get these guys some chemistry on the court.
