I'm glad posting these teams created from historic Kings players has been found amusing. As long as the number of votes/responses holds steady I'll put up three new ones every day.

As always, the question remains: If we were about to head into training camp and THESE were your Kings this season, how many games do you think they would be able to win?

Tank Thompson holds down the middle, but Ron Artest feels more and more "alone" and "isolated" because he's not getting the "help" "he" "needs".

End result: Ron puts this team on his back, but most of them don't want to be there, so they get off his back. And he puts them back on, showing "extraordinary" "leadership". Team self destructs in a quasi-Ron-the-one-and-only-style-mutiny-on-the-bounty-slash-vigilante-hero-coming-out-da-hood kinda way.

And then Bill Russel demonstrates how to rebound a clipboard.

25-29 by the Grace of God, via Ron's gangsta rap inspired prayers.

I went with 20-24, but only if the rest of the league was equally composed of badly balanced teams. The one thing worth watching might be the inevitable conflict between the Cat and Ron-Ron. ;) All that AND Bill Russell trying to coach them? Recipe for disaster...

Well, you've got a very physcial starting five, and a fairly athletic bench. Not a lot of scoring on this team and a definite lack of skilled players on the bench. I think this team will rebound fairly well and possibly play decent defense. But I think it will struggle big time to score. Even with Mr. Univerise, Antione Carr. I'm going with 20 to 24 wins..

As an aside, since this one was my squad I feel obligated to say that many of you were being blatantly ahistorical here. In Ron Ron's years with the Kings the fewest games he ever won was 33, this is what the roster/stats from that year looked like:

Starters
C Brad Miller -- 63gms 28.3min 9.0pts (.453 .152 .772) 6.4reb 3.6ast 0.6stl 0.6blk 1.7TO
PF Shareef Rahim -- 80gms 25.2min 9.9pts (.474 .150 .726) 5.0reb 1.4ast 0.7stl 0.5blk 1.5TO
SF Ron Artest -- 70gms 37.7min 18.8pts (.440 .358 .740) 6.5reb 3.4ast 2.1stl 0.6blk 2.1TO
SG Kevin Martin -- 80gms 35.2min 20.2pts (.473 .381 .844) 4.3reb 2.2ast 1.2stl 0.1blk 1.7TO
PG Mike Bibby -- 82gms 34.0min 17.1pts (.404 .360 .830) 3.2reb 4.7ast 1.1stl 0.1blk 2.4TO

Main Bench
F Corliss William. -- 68gms 19.7min 9.1pts (.510 .000 .715) 3.3reb 0.6ast 0.4stl 0.2blk 1.4TO
G/F John Salmons -- 79gms 27.1min 8.5pts (.456 .357 .779) 3.3reb 3.2ast 0.9stl 0.3blk 1.5TO
G/F Cisco Garcia -- 79gms 17.8min 6.0pts (.429 .356 .833) 2.6reb 1.1ast 0.6stl 0.5blk 0.9TO
PF Kenny Thomas -- 62gms 22.8min 5.3pts (.482 .000 .513) 6.1reb 1.2ast 0.7stl 0.3blk 1.5TO
G Ronnie Price -- 58gms 9.7min 3.3pts (.390 .323 .673) 1.2reb 0.8ast 0.5stl 0.1blk 0.6TO

Coach: Eric Musselman

Which is compared to the roster above...results in 10 more wins? Same three scorer structure, except less size, less defense, and no frontcourt scoring punch? Me no think so.
