I will root for the Kings whoever represents them and wherever they play.

I will take the good times with the no-so-good.

Not in a care-less sort of way, but with passion and feeling.

When we lose i can look forward to the next win. I dont have to wait a week for the next game and I can be hopeful against even the best teams because I KNOW we are better than our record suggests. (Or if we're not, then we will be in due course)

Im learing about the team and basketball in general all the time , its an adventure.

I LOVE THIS TEAM ! :D

I dunno, I hopped onto the band wagon becuase Webber was traded to the team right when i moved to California. (i'm from michigan) so it was a perfect fit. J-will and Peja were just some side icing on the michigan Fab Five cake. my cake got traded away and someone gave me a stale twinkie.

stale twinkie with frosting ? so if you take the frosting away ? crap if i was gonna eat a stale twinkie before i might as well now.

there really was no J-will era. there was the sac-sucks era. then we got webber and had a winning season ever since. we traded webber, and the webber era ended. want to be a part of the sac-sucks era again? i dunno. at least i have leaque pass and can watch Webber and AI. Bjax, dameon jones, and some j-will if i really want to but he's not very exciting now (nor is he turning the ball over and hucking up 3's with 22 seconds on the shot clock) :p i'll be a kings fan until i move to a different market . its geography , where else am i gonna drive to a game (i'm in tahoe) :p

trading webber away killed a lot of my passion. well that and our teaming turning from title contenders, to draft contenders :p

I was a fan when Sam Lacy, Phil Ford, Nate Archibald, Bill Robinzine, Scott Wedman were KINGS "KANSAS CITY KINGS"

Why is it everytime i come to this board there is always one of these type threads???

I was a fan when these names were on the backs of the jerseys:

Johnson, Theus, Woodson, Thompson, Drew, Thorpe, Tyler, Oberding, Kleine, Henry, Bratz, Kelly, Adams, Cooke.

None of those names are on the roster now, although you do see LaSalle "Tank" Thompson on House Party Live occasionally.

So, why am I still a Kings fan?

Because it still says "Sacramento Kings" on the front.

If some of you who came here during the GOOD times decide you just don't have any interest left in the time, farewell. It was nice to have you here while you were here. (And I'm being serious and not sarcastic.) Being a fan is a very personal thing. If you can't see your way to be a Kings fan any longer, I truly hope you can find a team that does excite you because this game is just too good to walk away from entirely.

Of course i would still be a kings fan. That's till i die. But i would be very dissappointed. But teams have to change sometime. They cant keep the same players forever...so thats the life of being a fan. Getting dissappointed but moving on.
