Win what. Dear god I hope you did not mean MVP. I wont even bother making a case against him.
I think he meant the championship! And if he does play the way he has played the last month, he would definitely deserves to be a MVP. But I guess that would be a little too difficult for some to the Sac fans to digest

the whole point of it was because everyone says the kings will never win with chris on the team. I have heard to many times that he will never win i cant even count that high.

Why is it C-Webb who "wins" the championship. If the Kings win it wont be just becuase of him, it will the TEAM that wins it. Besides, most of Webbers offense comes from open jumpers and easy layups, and once the playoffs come around teams are not going to let him get away with easy baskets like he did during the regular season. Due to his lack of athleticism and slow speed he will not be able to adapt to "playoff" b-ball. I Gaurantee his numbers will drop significantly during the playoffs and thats why Peja, as well as Brad and mike are going to have to step it up in order to even come close to winning a championship.
His numbers haven't dropped off in the playoffs in years. Actually his versatility virtually guarantees they won't unless he chokes, and he's gotten past that. Just nothing to key on. Guard him small, he posts. Guard him tight, he drives. Leave him open he shoots. And at all times he can beat you with the pass. Best you can do is choose whihc type of offense he's going o get.

If Kings win it all - I will be drunk for a week anyways and will not really care what people say.

It is a very long road to get there.

I won't bust ya too much Stojakovic. I might make you wear a Chris Webber jersey for a week, but thats it.

Ok thats NOT it, but I'll leave my more creative thoughts in my head for the time being.

Well he did well in the last playoffs inspite of coming back from a career-ending injury. Also had a triple double, if my memory serves me right in Game 6 against the TWolves. I have no reason to doubt why he shouldn't be able to do well in the coming playoffs. Could u exactly give some reasonable logic behind your indepth analysis of Webber's game in the coming playoffs?

Hmm Webbers lack of athleticism obviously comes from his knee surgery. Just out of curiousity, what Peja's excuse?

Hey now...we don't need MORE Webb v. Peja threads.

Didn't Peja break his leg pretty bad before he joined the Kings?
Dont want to make this a Peja vs. CWeb thread. Really I dont. Just dont like the fact that people dont give Web the credit he deserves.

if/when Chris is to win a championship...and thats with the Kings....i personally would give a majority of my verbal abuse to Laker fans in general....they are the only ones who actually bother me...

but i agree with Bdub...Chris haters will always be Chris haters no matter what

This post doesn't do anyone any good, either. If you have to tear Webber down in order to make Peja look better, perhaps you need to find a board named PEJA.com.

He broke his leg twice while playing in Europe, the second time was in 1996 (I think) and that time both bones below his right knee were broken. It seems the problem was misdiagnosed by PAOK officials as a strained muscle. The misdiagnosis was discovered when Peja attempted to play on it and found his right leg ready to move in any direction except straight down.

I used to have a link to the photos of that game/injury but I can't find it now. Sorry, you can take my word for it or not.

Agreed! I dont even drink that much, but I dont think I'd be sober for at least a couple weeks. I'll be running downtown like a little you know what crying my eyes out. But...eh...cant...think...about, that yet. Gotta get all our guys healthy come playoff time...then, and only then, I'll start to actually think...wow, we have a shot at this thing. How sweet it would be, how sweet it would be.
