I think it's been enough games for us to reflect on the trade

What... A... Trade... I love Doug... But... Wow... Mobley is playing WAY better than I could have ever expected... He is averaging 17ppg 3.5 APG and 3.5 RPG on 41% FGP and 43% 3p%... And not only that... But since the Mobley trade, teams are averaging just 42.5 FG%!! Which is pretty good considering it's at 44% right now, meaning it was higher... So that means our defense has gotten BETTER... I love the trade... It makes it so much easier for Miller and Webber. Because they can no longer sag off of our two guard. I don't understand how anyone could have anything negative to say about this trade... What a steal...

have yall noticed lately that barnes is playing like doug? with his good defense and distrupting the other teams offense!

100% agree. Nothing against Christie, but The Cat makes our team better in just about every way.

I love Doug Christie, but this trade has been good for the team! Gotta take the team success over any one player, no matter how much I love him. Good trade.

We lost a better man defender... but our Team Defensive rotation is much better! Not to mention the scoring punch(especially in second halves)... good trade.

Without Cat today, it would had been tougher to win. Cat made some big 3s! Go Cat!

With proper credit to JSin for the original posting of that now well-known and used phrase.

Doug just got old. It was a fairly obvious win for us once you cut through all of the sentimentality. Also really gives us a better chance on night when we are shorthanded with the extra offensive weapon.

love the trade...and ive actually loved it from the beginning..after i got over the initial shock of loosing DC

love ya DC

Spoken like a man who never had a hard time trading in a car.

Silly goose -- just a chunk of metal and glass. ;)

sentiment is overrated, right brick? :D

at least when it comes to inanimate objects and aging ballers. ;)

seriously though -- I liked Doug and what he did for us last year in particular. Would have been nice to have seen him be part of the Kings team that finally got over the hump. But its much like Vlade -- comes a point when he just can't anymore, and holding on too long rather than cashing in that player while he still has some value can really hurt your team for the future. Not fair to the team nor even to the fans to do that.

So, in other words, you knew it all along, eh?

Cocky bastard.;)

I, of course, DID know it all along. But, that's just 'cause I'm brilliant. So there.

I'm gonna miss Doug, but I'm loving Mobley and what he's doing for the team. Is it just me or have Bibby's assist numbers been way up since we got Mobley? Maybe Bibbs will start averaging near Nash numbers, that would be cool, if only to give him more credibility with the Media and stuff.
