How will CWebb handle Philly Media and Fans???

we all know how sensitive webb can be... now how do you think webb will handle the philly media and fans... sure they will be great to him at first, welcome him with a heros welcome... but the second he goes 5-21 in field goals, the fans and media will jump on him... if philly has any extended losing streak, the fans and media will be blaming him... and if he goes down with an injury, will they be as supportive of him as kings fans were???... if webb was upset by a little occasional booing by kings fans, he may be in for a very rough time in philly if they don't win right away...

I doubt it will happen. There have been PLENTY of games where AI goes 5 for 30. I guarantee you he doesn't get booed. They know you can never score 60 if you don't put up the shots night in and night out. Kings fans booed because there are plenty of other players who could take the shots instead. In Philly there are 2. C-Webb will be given MUCH more slack in Philly than he was here.

keflanag, I guarantee you that he gets booed before the end of this season!
I lived close to Philly, they take on a day to day basis over there. If you suck one day, you get to hear it right away.

You have got to be kidding yourself if you think that the Philly fans will not get on Webb if he has a run of bad games, etc. If Philly fans can boo Mike Scmidt then they can surely boo Chris Webber.

It takes even Philly fans a while to get into booing mode. Right now they're are jsutificably excited about the move, Webb will have a free pass probably all the way until the end of the seaosn unless they badly disappoint. Next year is a different question -- if they wallow in mediocrity my guess is the boos start come next January or so.
