How do you feel about Petrie now?

I think Geoff got the better end of the deal..again. I was particularly pleased that we didn't have to give up anything more than what we wanted to give up. This straight up swap is a win/win even if Artest doesn't work out he'll still be more tradeable, value wise, than Peja.

I still like him. The only thing bad about him was the C-Webb trade. That is all.

I LOVE THIS TRADE!

oh, is that all? He only mastermined the trade that brought the team from elite to embarrassing? Well, as long as it was a small mistake!;)

jury is still out on this one too

How many people screemed when Mitch was traded for that rotten Weber? I think that was know as one of the best trades in NBA history. We have been "powder blue soft" for a million years and know we have a real tough dude. Rick is the guy that did it before and will again.

How about Spree next?

I think that it is interesting that just a couple of years ago when the Kings were very competitive, the knock on them was that they were "too soft" to win a title. Now Petrie goes out and and gets a couple of really tough guys that play good D and people give him a hard about that. I guess it is true - be careful what you wish for. As for me, I think that the NBA is about entertainment and this new team will entertain in one form or another.

By the way, how long are people going to keep bringing-up Chris Webber?

DiabeticWonder hit it! Page one. If Artest does well and controls his emotions...and we hit the playoffs with a full head of steam...Rick gets a new contract! RonRon's going to make or break coach.
