Ouch man, that was rough one.
Well, if he's legit about being a Hornets fan, then what's wrong with cheering when your team hits a buzzer beater??did you just see the clip of lil weezy stomping his feet cause his team hornets won
Eh...was an exciting game, nonetheless...our youngsters got a taste of what its like to play with a playoff team in front of a packed house, during a horrible season, at that. They'll remember this night, I'm sure.Ouch man, that was rough one.
That was bull**** , that garcia shot was a 3 pointer. F those refs.
Whooweee, that was one of the best games in a long time. It really doesn't matter the end result. Garcia has to be one of the greatest clutch players that isn't anything close to a star.
I hope we hold on to him, he's great energy and scoring off the bench that we could DEFINITELY use in the coming years.Hopefully Garcia can become a Robert Horry lite clutchness when we are actually contending for a champ![]()
one question tho. Who was guarding Butler. I mean he was WIDE open. I don't recall if there was a screen for him or anything but whoever was guarding him needs a spanking.
I know this is good for our draft hopes, but I can't help but feel bad for the guys. They played a tough game tonight.
I was there, he and his friends ran out mid court. I know he is a native of New Orleans but I wanted him to shut up and sit down.did you just see the clip of lil weezy stomping his feet cause his team hornets won
I just rolled back my VCR to see that last play which was a 1.7 second blur. Here's what unfolded with the camera angle. Kings did not guard the out of bounds man. Therefore, 5 Kings players guarding 4 New Orleans blokes. The screen was West dropping down on Noc who tried to fight it off, but strangely Thompson froze. But that still left 3 other Kings players spread out looking for something to do. Butler just slide off the screen and took the wide open 3. As the shot went up CP3 was at least 28 feet out almost sitting in Gavin Maloof's lap who went from jumping on the court hugging Beno to a no telling what expression as camera panned elsewhere.
The replays looked pretty clear it was really a two w/ his right foot on the line. Maybe there is a different angle, but I don't think it was as close as when that happened a couple of weeka ago.
Hmm, not sure about that, but as I reviewed it just now, Martin was guarding the inbound pass. Thompson was on the bench. Garcia was guarding Butler, but stopped at West down low as Nocioni and Garcia essentially double teamed West. I think Garcia figured Nocioni would slide over and guard Butler, but he didn't. You can see Garcia right after the shot goes in with his arms spread out yelling at Nocioni.
I was there. Either way, the fact that they reviewed such a close call again on such a crucial play is ridiculous.
...
Im just effing pissed that 2 times now in the last month we've had games decided by a bogus review out of no where.
If its that close just give him the damn basket and get on with the game.
As with everything about this entire game, it was Natts fault. That man just doesn't know what he is doing, he is trying to outsmart himself.
You dont guard the inbounder in this situation.
Noce should have switched though, the Kings switch everything. In Chicago, you fight through that screen.
I really don't like switching. It got to a point when they would switch and NO wasn't even setting real screens. Natt disgusts me.
The shot was called a two on the floor, so the review didn't actually change anything. It certainly didn't decide the game -- in this case it could only have HELPED us.
Somehow I don't think you'd have said the same thing had Butler's foot been near the line on the final shot.
Im pretty sure the shot was called a 3... thats what I saw at least. Either way, screw the refs.
