Head coach & GM options

It's funny how so many come out and automatically assume some Bay Area writer is just making stuff up like this instead of looking at it the other way and seeing that it could be true. Like the above poster said, DMC has been completely silent since all this has gone down. The fact that he tweeted props for KJ doesn't necessarily mean that he didn't want the team to go to Seattle. Just means he has respect for an ex-NBA player turned mayor for his efforts.

With all the crap that DMC has put this franchise and the fans through the past couple of years, it would not surprise me in the least that he wanted to to go to a bigger market to play basketball.

My hope is that he's traded and that the new GM can get us a few solid players/good prospects to build with. It's always been my feeling that despite DMC's talents, he will never lead us to become a championship caliber team.

Will be interesting to see how it pans out....

You can now start the LWP bashing!

Ok, enough of this.

Yo Golden State flunkie/announcer dude. This is me calling you out.

First of all, Boogie is not a tweeter by nature. And you know what? Thank God. Sign of intelligence compared to these dips telling me their nose is running form the bench.

Since the decision came down form the NBA DeMarcus Cousins has made exactly THREE tweets. Three.

Tweet #1, May 24, announcing his basketball clinic in Sacramento:
demarcus cousins ‏@boogiecousins 24 May
Registration is now open for my Nike Elite Skills camp in Sacramento! Info on my camp in Somerset, KY is also here: http://www.demarcuscousinscamp.com

Tweet #2 May 26, retweeting this picture:

Tweet #3, posted about 5 minutes ago, May 28:

....

The symbols don't appear to show here, but that is a little crown and a basketball hoop. Put them together = Kings basketball.

So Mr. GSWFastBreak, whoever the hell you are. Shut the hell up about **** you know nothing about. I am tired of insects like you running around spouting your nonsense. you aren't qualified to talk about this team, or our player. Your "insight" is worthless and self serving. Go.

You're so dramatic lol "All the crap Cousins has put this organization and fans through! omg!"

Oh? Lol i guess. I wish you would have begun ur post with 'My hope is that he's traded'. I coulda stopped right there

Why does my twitter only get two squares? I don't see any Kings basketball.

Well, we need to build around Cuz, and despite the opinions of some his talent at his size is extremely rare. Someone will harness it and hopefully it's us. Glad he did tweet out a Kings symbol, even though I can't see it.

Use firefox and it will work.

Nothing dramatic about my post. I just don't believe he's the guy who will lead us to a championship and I'm not the only one who shares that opinion. Oh, and if you aren't aware of the crap he's put us through the past few years then you're blind.

LWP777 your post is annoying with all the positive things going on for the kings. Did you ever think about the roster the MaGoofs put on the floor to play with Cousins, or better yet, the coaches with lack of direction that were supposed to help him even though they didn't know how to help the kings. He is what only 22 years old. That is nothing... He has the talent to be great.. You don't ever trade away great.... It doesn't come along that often..

Is this enough to shut you up LWP? Time to start eating some crow.

Btw... all the "trouble" with Cousins is going to disappear now that we don't have coke heads running the franchise hiring incompetent coach after incompetent coach.

In fact, I actually respect Cousins more because he doesn't put up with bad leadership. He may not be extremely savvy in expressing the frustration that comes from that situation, or dealing with the emotions is triggers in him, but it's a good sign that he saw a problem.

But you probably don't understand that cause you sound narrow minded. You probably would have been like IT, all up in Smart's (probably Westphal's) jock, nodding along no matter what side of his mouth he was talking out of.

On my Macbook, the icons are slightly different. But the message is still loud and clear. :)

:eek::eek:

Is it?? Because that could mean "the ball is in the Kings court". As in "I demanded to be traded, and now its up to them whether they meet that demand, or whether I run around Sacramento killing small animals and mugging little old ladies for their purses until I force their hand". You don't know!

You just aren't looking at this with the proper internet rumor mongerer's eye.

Or it could mean he is going to Miami to play Basketball with Kings James!!!!

haha but really, Cousins didn't have to go put that on Twitter, it shows his loyalty to Sacramento and turning this team around, and how he doesn't want to leave to go to a good team, he wants to be a part of making this team good, which he has talked about before, which is awesome

Hey I hope I do eat crow. I hope he magically cleans up his act and leads us to the promise land. But guess what? I play the odds!

It's funny you label me as narrow minded simply because I have a different opinion than you do. Perhaps you would fit in North Korea or Iran....might be a better place for you.

i'm not sure you do. historically, 20/10 centers lead to wins and playoff appearances. DMC is well on his way to becoming such a player. personally, i think you're playing against the odds...

You don't trade away big talents (figuratively and literally) like Cousins. Look at how much trouble James, Wade and co. have against Hibbert. Most teams that have won championships in the past 10-15 years had a big talent inside.

Agree with everything you say except that you're leaving out the fact that he's a cancer to his team. Just look at somebody like Tim Duncan and how he has handled himself so professionally throughout his career. His teammates want to play with him. He's inspiring. DMC....well, he's uninspiring. At least to me.

Pathetic response. And so goddamn worn out. ''oh you think i'm narrow minded only because my opinion is different''... Poor YOU.

Actually I love diversity and learning (i have my opinion affected and incluenced all the time on this board), but only from prople who operate with reason and genuineness. You don't.

So funny how you asked us to attack you, i thought (foolishly) it was because you wanted to improve your game. Apparently it was because you relish the role of the 'persecuted'. And that's really all you come here for. Not to actually share and learn, but to be the guy with some stupid, stubborn opiniom, so you can turn around and say how everybody hates you or is annoyed by you when in fact they have perfectly good reason. But you don't care to here ot cause you didn't come in the spirit of exchange, that's why you are narrow minded.

Keep in mind you're comparing a 37 year old nba vet who had 4 yrs of college t o a one and done 23 yr old.... Duncan had Robinson as a mentor. Cousins had nobody. Huge difference in circumstances.

I forgot about that tweet. I'm still surprised we've heard nothing from his aside from that tweet 4/29. Do hope it's nothing though and he's fully on board.

As for Malone, a few players might be shipped out due to poor defense and poor defensive capabilities. Our backcourt might end up looking completely different come Aug, as aside from Reke and Douglas who's a FA, IT/MT/Jimmer all have difficulty on that end, some more than others of course.

I don't think it works that way. Curry is one of the worst defenders in the league, but he's not going anywhere. The only absolute criterion I see is that if a guy doesn't consistently put out the effort on D, then he's gone. Other than that, everything is relative.
