He also admitted he is playing for a contract. These #'s, in only 7 games I might add, don't even come close to his career body of work. That is concerning. He is having a nice start though.

DMC VS Spencer Divacs Hawkeem next game.

Clash of the Titans.

The Immovable force vs The Reaping Whirlwhind.

Godzilla vs Mothra

Fire vs Ice

Waffles vs Pancakes.

Be there or be square, the matchup of the century.

7PM E.T. coming to a television near you.

thats it. Its a contract year, anyone who has a go at GP for letting him go is on something. The kid was rubbish for us and the consensus here was that it was a great move in ridding him.

He will play lights out against us i can assure you but i still care little for him

Hindsight is 20/20. Had we retained Dalembert, we would still be "win" that trade. We will probably be better off in the long run having a Hayes/Dalembert type next to Cousins anyways (both for style of play and for the veteran guidance).

It would, of course, be nice to still have Hawesome on the roster, but I'm happy he's finally putting it all together somewhere else.

This is another example of Petrie's excellence in drafting players. If only we had better coaches than Muss, Theus, and Natt when Hawes was still a King, maybe he could have bloomed to his potential here. Anyway, I'll still pick Cuz over Hawes any day.

What?

A player having good games because he thinks he is playing for a contract?

He will play good only when he wants to and not because he is being payed to play good all the time?

What kind of attitude is that?

We don't want to have guys like that who only plays good when he wants to!

I'm sure the contract adds a little motivation but I never really thought Spencer didn't care about getting better. To me, he seemed like the had that drive when he was in Sac but he just wasn't coached well enough and he probably was still going through growing pains. Remember, I believe he came to us with only a year or two of college basketball (and I think he was hurt his last year). I wouldn't be surprised if he plays around this level for years to come, under the right coach and system.

I think a lot of you are just sour grapes because he is finally flourishing and you wish we never made that trade.

It also could be it's his 4th year. Big men can sometimes take 4-5 years to start putting up decent numbers.
