Two things can be true at the same time. They can both know what they have in Harry and feel that they can't find minutes for him as the roster is currently constructed. How they rectify that could come down to any number of circumstances. No, it doesn't have to be by trading Harry. But I wouldn't be so sure that trading him is not an option depending on the direction they want to go.
Kid is oozing with potential we don’t have a 1st and we won’t be picking in the lottery again. How can someone think we’d entertain trading him
There is no doubt that next year, Koufos will be somewhere else and Harry joins the rotation in a bigger role. He’s not going to be traded.I strongly suspect KK will be gone long before Giles is.
We need to keep him around as he is just learning the nba game and he has some years to catch up on.
Also the way we are playing we are buying time for him to get better and we needed him tonight.
I find it amazing that we seemed lost in the woods not so long ago and had no real talent that we could use in a trade or so we thought. And just a few months later we are looking at filling in just a few spots to help us hopefully get a better position in the playoffs.

Because they didn’t send him to Stockton, they sent him to the Vegas showcase when they were short-handed. The purpose of the showcase is to provide visibility of players to the league. It’s why they sent Richardson and Pappagianis to the showcase in previous years.

They should not give Kosta Koufo any minutes at all. He looks pathetic out there. Doesn't do anything to help the team. Doesn't rebound well...got outrebounded by bigger guys because of shorter length, can't play aggressive defense...get back down too easily, doesn't have the muscle, can't shoot, has a terrible hook shots; doesn't hustle, doesn't steal, can't pass, can't dribble. If he made a mistake, it's like "so far." I mean seriously, this guy is terrible. He only hurt the Kings by putting him out there because he has so many deficiencies. Basically, I can't believe the Kings still have him in the roster....they should got rid of him a long time ago. I would rather the coach play Zack Randolph than this guy. Give me anyone, anybody....hell even Giles is better than him. At least, Giles hustling and trying to get second chance shots for the team. At least Giles can pass and help the team. But Koufo...what is the point of playing him? Seriously. Doesn't defend well. Keep letting guys drive to the hoop and get easy layups. Help defense is just terrible.

To me this quote is interesting. I see Harry more as a replacement for Beli as a high IQ perimeter big while Bagley is more an around the basket player. Bagley, WCS and KK all play better with a perimeter big who stretches the floor.

Jason Jones has a nice article about Harry in The Athletic (side note: subscribing to The Athletic has been worth the money thus far).
Harry seems like a really really interesting dude with varied interests and a really good head on his shoulders. Honestly reminds me of C-Webb in that regard as well.

Actually, I remember from the last game, that Bogdan passed to Giles when he was wide open behind 3pt line. Giles airballed that shot. Anyway, he will calm down, they should continue feeding him.

if Giles could hit the 3 and reduce fouling, he can be the strech 4 with Bjelica that both WCS and Bagley need at 5. i also thought Skal could be that guy, and while he can hit the 3, he seems to lack awareness otherwise. but we need another guy to fill the strech 4 shoes, our offense kind of requires it...

Yes and Giles has the IQ of Bjelica to move the ball and get Bagley and WCS easy baskets around the rim.
Giles isn’t there yet but he absolutely needs 10-15 minutes a game to get comfortable and work his way there just like JJ has been doing.
