The defensive improvements have held the Kings three opponents to some of each team's weakest offensive games of the young season. It was mostly the lapse among the starters that was a black spot in the Warriors game.

Taking a look at the Clippers they dropped 78 points on Houston at half time......so maybe we were not that bad we just ran into red hot teams while we had zero offence from 90% of the roster.
Aside from their game against the Clippers (and even then, their offense was still pretty good), the Warriors have just been shredding their competition. Curry and Thompson just seem to be shooting even better than they normally do.

GS shot 53% from field, and 57% from deep at LAC, on back end of back to back. Warriors lost because:
1) 50 free throws for Clippers
2) Curry neutralized his 38 pts with 11 turnovers

Actually, no, he does nothing to compliment Cousins at all. There's room for one and only one scoring oriented big man per starting lineup.. Can he provide some bench boost? Sure, perhaps. But given what a lousy fit he is next to Cousins we might need his bench scoring for 12-16min a night. The rest of the time he'll be out there providing the same non-support PPat does.
It's debatable whether Landry is a good fit next to Cousins, but you seem to have missed the part where Landry was the 2nd most efficient post scorer behind Lebron James in 2011/2012. How is that non-support? Landry came up huge for the last 2 playoff teams he was with. I know he had a rough run with the Kings but sometimes good players lose focus when they play for a team in disarray.

Imagine David Lee trying to defend Carl Landry in the previous game. Landry would have tore Lee up. Sure Lee probably would have done his fair share on Landry, but the Kings badly needed production in the paint to open up the perimeter.

As my bud "bajaden" reminded me, "It's only 3 games." What he didn't need to say was how early in a long term game this is. Warriors are good. Then destroyed 76ers by 20 in Philly and could very well end up in the top 3 in the west with Rockets, OkCity. (Another argument for another day). Seeing Outlaw perform well is what this phase is all about. Same for MLM. If each game another steps up then at some point 2 or 3 step up at the same time, we should begin to see progress.;)

Clips went for 130+ on a team which has two of the best anchor defensive C's and Parsons playing D........

Not even the awesomeness that is Omri Casspi stood a chance against the Clippers and their mighty 4-guard formation.
The way he's playing I would love to him him over any SF we have had since he left, he's been terrific for the Houston over the preaseason also.

warriors led by 39 near end of 3rd. they yanked all starters and 2nd stringers. 3rd stringers played the whole 4th. the final score was very deceiving lol.
