Don't tell that to TNT analysts or ESPN.

After the game between Cleveland and LA, they couldn't distinguish between what Kobe's bottom tasted like compared to chocolate ... their lips were FIRMLY planted on his buttox. In that game Kobe took the last 5 shots (hitting 2 of them) and LeBron on his last 5 possessions hit one shot and passed to wide open teammates for 4 other attempts.

They said that is why Kobe is so much better than Lebron and why LeBron will never be a "true superstar". They went as far as to call LeBron a middle tier man.

Anyhow, they said that Kobe's "ballhoggity" behavior is why he is so great!

Meanwhile, in that game, Kobe was 9-21 with 2 assists for 27 points. LeBron was 11-22 with 9 assists for 29 points. I'm sorry, I just take LeBron's style of play and attitude over Kobe 100 times out of 100.

It just made me laugh.

Now I don't usually agree with playmaker but I agree 1000000% on this.

Sorry but it was Martin guarding him in the first when Kobe went for 21.

Sorry, but it was Garcia that gave up the big points to Kobe.

Here's the points breakdown on what Kobe's defenders gave up:

Garcia 37
Martin 12 (all in the 1st)
Hart 2

True, but that's not exactly right either, as Garcia guarded Kobe much longer than Kevin did; if your point is that Martin did a better job, those numbers simply aren't enough evidence.

That was not my point. My point was to counter the earlier implication that Martin gave up 21 points to Kobe in the first.

Martin gave up 12 and Garcia gave up 9 in that period.

But actually, wehen you break down the tape, both players did about equally as well on Kobe. Kobe shot at 50% on both players, and both players forced Kobe into 2 turnovers, although Kevin did it with much less minutes defending him. Kobe missed about the same percentage of field goals against these young guys when they had help and when they did not have help and were solely 1-on-1.

The biggest difference is in how many passes Kobe was forced to make when his defender got help (or in many cases, when he NEEDED help). For Kevin, the breakdown was 6 Kobe passes with no help, 3 passes with help. For Garcia, it was 5 passes with no help, and a whopping 17 passes with help of one or two teammates (often two later in the game).

Two of Kobe's missed FG attempts in OT were 1-on-1 with Cisco with no help. Outstanding job there when it REALLY mattered.

Overall, Cisco did as good a job as he could, but I don't think you crown anyone's defense as "great" or close to that when your guy goes off like Kobe did against both Kevin and Cisco.

Was it Laker fans leaving? They do that all the time, you know....

No, Kings fans were leaving with 35 seconds to play. But in overtime, :D it was with great satisfaction that those of us in Section 207 waved goodbye to the Lakers fans who had been so obnoxious during the game.

It sounded like there were a ton of laker fans??? What is happening to ARCO?

Doug Collins sure talked alot about Kobe didn't he?

If not on Kobe, then it was about him being teammates with Mike and Kobe's fathers. Opening tip-off especially......Henry err Mike Bibby.

Yup he did, jeez I was so sick of him saying: AND KOBE DID THAT LIKE MICHAEL TOO. Kobe, BEST...PLAYER...EVER. That guy irritates the heck out of me, I don't recall kevin harlan going so crazy over kobe though. Did he(don't remember).

Best tnt commentator is reggie.
