Said its "unlikely" to make any roster changes this season that are not salary cap neutral until the CBA is resolved. So there you have it. The Personal Moves section takes another hard hit lol.
I know this is nothing new to you guys but this is the first time I've listened to Grant's radio show and OMFG WHAT A ****ING DOUCHEBAG!
Haha....I love it when people complain about Grant. It's like complaining about having to pay taxes....
When will the CBA be resolved? around trade deadline or what?
I...don't see the correlation.
You HAVE to pay taxes. You DON'T have to listen to Grant.
I know this is nothing new to you guys but this is the first time I've listened to Grant's radio show and OMFG WHAT A ****ING DOUCHEBAG! Calling people morons on the air and then hanging up on them so they can't say anything back? That's the most cowardly, idiotic thing that a media person can do. Oh, and saying that Westphal has nothing to do with the way the Kings have been playing? Yea, I guess it takes a moron to know one...
He's from New York guys.... calling people morons IS his way of being polite...

Both are just annoying things in life you'd prefer to not deal with. And if you're a Kings fan, you learn to deal with Grant, similar to how a normal person learns to deal with taxes.
i actually support not making any big roster changes that could lead to more wins at this point as it would possibly lead to them picking in that no man's land between 6-12 rather than top 4. This season could turn out to be a blessing in disguise if it leads to another top pick. Going into next season with another top 5 pick and boatloads of capspace puts The Kings in better position for the future than almost any team in the league, despite how bleak things may be right now.

Grants not that bad. I'm in ny right now for the holidays, and his personality is completely normal over here. He also gets a lot of stupid callers every day. I don't always agree with him, but I too would get pretty fustrated having to talk to some of the callers he has to deal with.
Having grown up in St. Louis, and also having listened to a lot of sports talk out of Chicago, I would say that Grant is fairly reppresentive of the typical east coast sports talk announcer. Remember this is the guy that grew up with Madd Dog Russo and that group. So I'm not surprised by him, and for the most part he's intertaining. On a personal level, I'm not a big fan of Grant, but thats another story. But professionally, I like him. He sticks to sports which is what I tune in for, and he's not telling me about his night at the community center watching Phantom of the opera.
What did Cousins' agent have to say?
I often don't like Grant on the air, but if you hate him, it means you listen enough to hate him. In our society, its sensationalism, uproar, controversy and strong emotions raised (positive or negative) that garner ratings. Some nice, polite personality wouldn't last as long as a snowball in hell. That's what I don't like about much of the media, but you have to blame it on the majority of people who eat it up and keep ratings high.
