Garcia Fell Down

SALT LAKE CITY – Early on during the Kings' mid-January road trip across the East Coast, swingman Francisco García estimated the time of his official return at approximately two weeks.
Nearly two weeks later, it remains unclear when he'll be back.
The fifth-year player said he is now taking the "day-to-day" approach, in part because of a fall that occurred late in Thursday practice when García fell on the right wrist that was broken in an Oct. 9 exercise ball accident. While it was far from an injury, it was enough to make the wrist even more sore than it already had been and force García to take the cautious approach once again.
"It gets sore," García said. "I practice good, but like yesterday (Thursday), I fell on my wrist and it's sore now … I (can't return) until I feel fully confident that I can get out there and fall on the floor and I'm going to be OK."
Both García and Westphal said there will be no more projections about when he'll return.
"He'll be ready when he's ready," Westphal said. "It's unfortunate because he had practiced really well (on Thursday before the fall)."

It took half a year for me to get my broken wrist up to speed. I kept banging it against everything. It was my job to lift over 1,000 tires a night, one by one, by hand. Broken wrists can bother you for a long, long time. Just like an ankle - the problem can be easily aggravated. Dude needs to be careful.

What??? You could not be more wrong. Anyways im starting to get the feeling he is going to miss the entire season.
Yeah I kind of agree. But I knew when he had that serious of an injury he could miss the whole year. It'd be a shame though because I'd love to see how he fits on this team.

Garcia plays with heart! and he can pass, defend and shoot... he's going to be a perfect complement to tyreke evans.

I gave a lot of respect to garcia when he played for his college louville especially when his brother died. he has heart. we need that kind of player around

i think he's the guy who would make a perfect captain, and future head coach when he retires. when cisco speaks people listen :)

come on cisco El Flaco! get better!

Garcia adds little to nothing to this team anyway. He's a below average role player, nothing more.
How far below average? Most of our players have a hard time 'adding something' to the team. For my part get Garcia better and back on the court where he will help this team.

honestly, garcia and the kings would be better off waiting until after the all-star break to bring him back, anyway...

he's a valuable piece of this team, but whenever he returns, he will immediately become a part of the greater problem of distributing minutes among the kings endless logjam of swingmen...

the kings would be best served waiting to see if petrie can move one or two pieces from the logjam in the coming weeks...

He is an above average role player, and he is the emotional leader of the team! He isn't an all star caliber player, but where he is really important is as a stable veteran presence in the clubhouse to help the young players deal with losing and keeping their heads up. Francisco Garcia from day one has been a great influence on the Kings and now that he is one of the few veterans left, he is a vocal leader.

If you dont understand the importance of THAT then I guess you can just write him off as a role player with little significance. But the young players on this roster see him as MUCH more than that. He needs to be healthy and contributing to really be effective as a team leader, so I hope he DOES recover fully and helps the Kings turn this season around! The Kings are a much better team with a healthy Cisco cheering his teammates on and helping by being a veteran presence at the end of games to help stabilize this young roster.

I think that Cisco is THE most important role player on this team! Other than being a consummate professional, he is a great role model for the other players on the team and a all around great guy to have in the clubhouse. You need guys like Cisco to be the glue that holds teams together. Cisco is a TEAM FIRST guy. The Kings need a guy like that to show the youngsters on the club how to be professionals and how to go about their daily routines in a professional way. Cisco could very well turn out to be our MVP this year if he can get healthy.

I had a feeling if we put Garcia in the back court starting with Evans that would make a good combo.. Better than Martin/Evans by far.. Plus we keep the size (without having to go Beno/Evans)...

Once Martin is traded it should be...

PG-Evans
SG-Garcia
SF-Casspi
PF-Thompson
C-Hawes

With Beno coming off the bench as the first SG/PG
With Greene coming off the bench as the first SF/PF
Dunno what to do about C.

All this guy is doing is trying to get a rise out of everyone. I would, if I were every, chose to ignore this guy. He obviously he has no purpose but to try and get people to comment on his post. in a negative way
