Game Plan vs LA?

Hello Kings fans all the the way from Crete, Greece! Long time since I've been on due to my duties here in the Med (Slim would understand ;) ) and I've only been able to see 3 Kings games here (which they lost all 3)! Anyways, with the LA game, what do you all think should be the game plan? I personally wouldn't mind starting cisco at SG to defend Kobe. I think he would be better with the d on Kobe than Martin. We could then start KT at SF to guard Odom (awesome to see the matchup of these two IMO!) Because the PF spot of the Lakers is not exactly top notch, start Skinner. He couldn't possibly be that bad. Brad at C and Bibby at PG. Have Martin come off the bench at SG with Corliss at SF(on favorable matchups of course!) What do you think?

Just wanted to tell you the Peja Stojakovic is probably expected to play...so take that notice

wow.

I cannot believe the attitude of some people towards one of our own players. That is what is truly sad - not that Peja is going to play.

My game plan? Pretty far out there...I suggest strongly that we score more points than the Lakers do.

if you want a real game plan, i say force kobe bryant to beat you entirely on his own. there's no way either martin or garcia or any combination of players is gonna slow him down. make him work, but make every other laker work harder. if you can somehow shut down the rest of the lakers offense (and there isn't much of it outside of kobe bryant), then you have a good shot at winning.

After watching the LA-Miami game the other night I think we better have a little more respect for their other players. Like Padrino said, Kobe's going to get his points no matter what but just like we did with Phoenix I think we need to seal off the key (especially the base line) and make them beat us with jumpers and, in so doing, it would also make it harder for Kobe since his first move is usually to the key for something close on an athletic move.

I like this strategy: concentrate on all non-Kobe Lakers. This has worked well before. Kobe will have a low shooting % in the first half and improve in the second half, but the Lakers will lose by 20 points with that strategy. If things get tight, however, I think the Kings should, well... do you remember "Hack-a-Shaq"?

i herd SAR and specialy Peja ar playing tom.. am just worried they might ruin the good thing goin on wth k-mart, cisco, mike, brad and kt...

Peja being back is actually important for this one, because its almost a given that Kobe is going to get one, and quite possibly both, of the kids in foul trouble. We'll need the extra quality SF/OG type to avoid the horror of seeing Corliss or Hart trying to D up Kobe.

Nah. You guys have all missed the secret weapon we've had stashed on the bench all year.

Sampson was brought on board for one reason and one reason only. His mission? To go Jack Bauer on Kobe.

;)

wut bout corliss tryin 2 post and muscle up kobe down low on offense so kobe wil work mor on D & possibly pick up som fouls???

Game Plan = Play defense on Kobe even if it means double teaming him. Also you might want to watch out for Parker because Parker can score on a lot of pgs especially on ours. Lamar Odom will be a tough one for Peja but I expect RA to put Garcia on him. Do all those and we have a good chance to win. Brad please don't let Mihm have a 15+ Rebounding night.:o

.... Oh yea and BEAT LA!!

It will be interesting to see Martin on Kobe. I believe that Kobe will be surpirsed at Kevin's quickness. Does anyone perceive a lack of team chemistry when Bibby and Peja are on the floor together?
