[Game] Game -7: Sacramento Kings @ Toronto Raptors, 10/5/14 4 PM pst, 7 PM est

I don't want Thompson to start, either. I just don't want to trade him. In my ideal scenario, we get Landry's value high enough to trade him (and McLemore?) for a quality power forward, and send Thompson to the bench.
Definitely the ideal scenario. I was speaking of the PFs we currently have on the team. However, I wouldn't balk at a trade offer that includes Thompson if it means a good - very good PF is coming our way.

When I think about what kind of player I would like alongside Cousins, Thompson appears, to me, to be the most qualified candidate out of the guys we've got. Or, if not, the least unqualified candidate.

Also, as I've mentioned numerous times before, I'm not in favor of any PF trades that do not involve Carl Landry.

Coach should draw up some plays for Stauskas... it's like he's not even there.
Defense is sticking to him, a good problem to have. That's where a post threat can take advantage of improved spacing.....however something absent from tonight has been any kind of a post threat from us.

My biggest criticism of tonight is we're far too perimeter oriented.

haven't been able to watch the whole game but have been impressed with nik on D. when he sees the pick coming he is actually pretty good at recovering and staying close enough to challenge the offensive player. I think he can become an average defensive player if not just slightly above average in a couple years.

i believe it would be Moreland. But he is definitely a long way from being a starter i would think

Interesting lineup.

Moreland is, at least theoretically, a better defender than Thompson. Although, if he were clearly better defensively, he wouldn't have gone undrafted. Offensively, he's a not a threat. Thompson isn't much of a threat on offense, but he's not a non-entity.

Yep, just haven't looked to get the ball in the post. Landry's gotten position several times and we just miss him. Same with Cuz in the 3rd. Those 2 are 2 of the better post scorers in the league, need to take advantage of it.

I'm not a non entity either
