I think it has more to do with the fact that Miller is a 39 year old and Ish Smith is a super quick guard...you tell me who will win that match up, it's the help defense that failed him.

F- for Miller/Gay/Williams and Ben that was the saddest effort on D by them 4 I have ever seen, this is why I will never be sold on Rudy Gay as the 2nd best player on a team he just doesn't bring it consistently enough dude is soft.

Cuz is pretty damn loyal, but everyone has a tipping point and we seem to be doing our best to test his loyalty as much as we possibly can, and by we I mean the PDA/Mullin/Vivek trio.

that's the problem though...here he is the second best player when he should be the THIRD best player but by default, that's all we have and that's why getting a top 3 pick is absolutely crucial because the top 3 guys Russell, Okafor and Towns are game changers and could take a significant amount of pressure off our two guys, I know I know...rookies don't contribute right away but it's just their presence alone and talent that would turn things into a positive spin for me. If we don't land it, I'm not quite on the trade Gay bandwagon yet but I will be if we don't see the necessary pieces starting to be put in place with a proper direction.

For an "old wily veteran" Miller sure makes some stupid decisions. Like trying to force a 1v2 fast break when ur only down 3 with 58sec left.

You're totally and completely missing my point. We're at the end of a long road trip. He's been called upon to play major minutes. Right now, I'm pretty sure he's tired, and hurting, and worn out physically and mentally.
