Reading the quote from Corbin about pace.....I just can't believe how the season has changed from excitement to this....and others have said it already, just don't care enough to post here during the games because it sucked so bad. In years past, as a Kings fan, you start clamoring for the younger players/rookies to play so that we have something to look forward to watching. Well, since I was against the Stauskas pick, I don't look forward to that either. This team has one of the best players on the planet in Cousins and even he may not be enough to keep me interested. I never miss a game on TV....never ever. Now I'm thinking about not even watching or taping the game tonight.

Consider me bitter.

I've stopped watching a few games already, been doing other things. I just check the score on my phone, read the forum for summary of the game or grades, or watch highlights. Saves me 3 hours of frustration, really, and that's what it has come down to. In the past, even if we were losing we still rooted for the team and the players. It was still exciting and it was still fun cheering at STA. Right now it's really hard because it feels like we were screwed with by pete and vivek in a different way and it leaves a bad taste. I can't explain it, maybe it's because they lie and their pr sucks major ass, and they threw away this season for NO REASON. I still like and cheer for each individual player though, Darren..McLemore, DMC, Gay...

Their business now consists of flavored vodka and a hangover remedy. I'm pretty sure nobody really cares if they're laughing or not...
Wait what? They have a beer distributorship empire - a virtual money printing machine. They have a giant hotel/casino in Vegas one of the trendiest night spots in the city. Paris Hilton goes there. They have an NBA franchise on the cover of Sports Illustrated. Don't they??? oh.....

Nope. The Maloofs weren't that bad at the beginning. It was only when their finances started to suffer after Webber crumpled to the floor in Dallas that things started to turn. They thought the only way to save their team was to move it to a more lucrative market - and they lied to us repeatedly about it and tried to drive us away so they'd be able to move.

It's beginning to look as though Vivek and Co. just didn't make a wise pick for GM. They opted for a snake oil salesman (lawyer/agent/politician) whose hubris is going to undo ALL the good will they earned over buying the team and keeping them here in Sacramento.

If they're going to set things back on the right course, PDA has to go...and sooner rather than later. They need to bring in a competent experienced person for the GM role and then have him hire a competent experienced head coach. And they need to do very quickly.
Or:
Hire Karl.
Give him control of personnel decisions.
Get out of the way.
Profit.

At least if he moves players, he knows what he's looking for.
