There's nights where Darren Collison is a good player and nights where I'm not sure about him. I'm not sure he's all that good.

He plays way to within himself for a point guard, which is fine if the point guard is a solid scorer, but he forces too much and is not physical.

He's our most consistent player next to Cousins. Most games he's 15pts, 6ast and few turnovers. Rarely takes bad shots and plays defense.

No player wants a triple-double in a losing effort. For him to really be happy about, they have to get the win.

I agree he is one of the more consistent players on the team but like I said he is not someone I would want as my point guard of the future. He quite simply a very good back up point guard. I don't know his contract situation but it would be a BAD idea to throw a big extension at him with the idea he's a franchise point guard
