There's nights where Darren Collison is a good player and nights where I'm not sure about him. I'm not sure he's all that good.

He plays way to within himself for a point guard, which is fine if the point guard is a solid scorer, but he forces too much and is not physical.

Defense has been solid. Basically, we're funneling the ball to Devin Harris or Monta Ellis on the perimeter and forcing them to make jump shots, which they haven't.

We have bigger issues than Collison. He is serviceable at the PG for now until we can do better. We need a PF (a good one) and a bench.

Ok? Darren Collison is no Rondo. Rondo can at least drive to the rim and not force up bad shots. Collison is too inconsistent on both sides of the ball. A solid backup but I guess for where the Kings are (no better than mediocre at this point), he's fine as the starter. That's mainly what he's been prior to joining the Kings. A solid back up point guard.
