Game -3: Sacramento Kings vs. Maccabi Haifa 10/18/14 7:30 PM PST, 10:30 EST

Is Bhullar the only guy who changed his number from the preseason? Don't tell me they're thinking about retiring Williams' number, too?

Derrick Williams had another solid game. I really like him when he plays SF. I think if Rudy is ever out, Williams should start in his place. We need Casspi for our bench unit.

2-3fg 7-8ft total 12pts 2rebs in 21 minutes. If he can have this type of game all season long, then I wouldn't mind resigning him to a small contract. He looks like he's slimmed down a bit too. Maybe he's moving to strictly playing SF?(one should hope so)

Did G-Man just say, "Kings win going away over Maccabi Hi-School?!?!"
lol they were pretty terrible. I don't think they're used to NBA rules.. they committed a lot of fouls today over the little things. I think that's what killed them today. They were never able to get into any type of rhythm.

Just got hom fom he gam and readin the posts othe last hour. There never was any doubt who would win the game but we had fun watching our guys and we did see all of the play except Gay. Enjoyable evening but it didn't prove much of anything about our team. Maybe these last two preseason games will be a little more serious nd competitive. We might get closer to a starting lineup and starters minutes.

Good lord they came down from Portland on a bus to play a back-to-back? Thats at least an eight hour bus ride!

Longer! I'm from 2 and 1/2 hours north of Sacramento, and it's about 8 hours in a car from there to Portland. So add in bus being uber slow+ extra hours to get down here and it was probably closer to an 11 hour bus ride.

My sister is friends with one of the Haifa players, and yeah she tells me the players were pissed about the 10 hour drive on a back to back. The guy is actually from Sac, she and a bunch of friends were there tonight in support, good dude.

Maccabi Haifa is so-o-o bad team this year... They lost this summer their best player, coach, starting PG and then one of top rotation players got injured. And replacements of those who leaved are just no good. They can't win any game against average team (and I'm not speaking about NBA or even Euroleague level, I'm speaking about Eurocup or even Israeli league teams) without their 3pt shooter Dagan Yavzuri got hot and scoring at least 5 3pt shots on good clip... And he wasn't even playing (as much as I understand - got injured in previous game after 9 min.)...
It's just pathetic :( to go for this US trip with such team...

I was kinda expecting this to be sort of a blow-out since Maccabi Haifa has really regressed in terms of quality players and decent coaching staff.

But yet it was fun watching and Israeli team once again playing against NBA teams especially when an Israeli player plays on that team.
So Casspi was pretty average but decent, scored 7 points and grabbed 7 boards and also had a block shot, that's pretty good I believe.

Casspi is looking in a very decent shape thus far and I hope he will be able to showcase it throughout all the phases of the regular season because I really believe that he can be important for the Kings.
