I continue to be baffled by teams and players who are determined to beat a zone by taking tons of three-point field goals. I know that analytics guys like to salivate over threes, but it's ****ing stupid. The thing about the zone is that it's designed to stop penetration, but it's not particularly suited to deny ball reversal. I've found that the best way to beat the zone is with quick passes, cuts and screens. You would think that a franchise with our recent history would be cognizant of that.
