I voted no...not so much about character, but a thug with pigtails is just...

Ewwwwwwwwwwwwww!!!

lol....u guys are beotching because of pigtails, yet scot pollard was a fan favorite...hmmmmm....;)

fortson would be an interesting concept...he definitely would bring the physical aspect to the game that would be a welcome addition....hes a crapshoot...no doubt...

i have a feeling he would help out some games....and not in others...

if u could trade KTs contract and hart for fortson and reggie evans, it might very well be worth the gamble....just to get rid of KTs contract and he and SAR are just a bit of overkill on the same team....IMO....

both guys want out of seattle....and both could probably help sac out in different ways...

NO!!! Isn't Fortson another crappy player with a crappy contract. Don't we have enough of those; Skinner, Kenny, and Corliss!!

Now, that sounds better... same deal was suggested earlier but Skinner was in there instead of Kenny.

edit: SK23: 12 millon + over 2 years is his contract..

Still don't know.

How about Hart for Evans. :)

Key-rist! no friggen way! what do you wnat to do put togher a team that Rick Mahorn would call thugish? Kings have enough tude already and any big we bring in has to do more than rebound!

we don't need someone who plays defense by giving fouls and a so called a tough guy by having technical fouls, ejections/suspensions!!!

If Fortson wants to fit in and keep coming off the bench, than I've rethought my position.

It'd be a step up from KT. He's a solid rebounder and a guy that will get in the face of the opposition. He's a meat & potatoes player.

KT is far more talented ... but he's also a much bigger primadonna.

It's not like we don't have a powderkeg having KT on the team right now anyhow.

I said maybe if cheap...but now that I think about it, SKREW that! I'm already a supporter of More Minutes for Skinner, who's a quality back-up and a presence in the paint. yeah, forget about DF...

Personally, I hate Danny Fortson. He isn't talented, he's just a big lug who goes in there and throws bows and plays dirty, and is usually only good for racking up fouls and getting untimely technicals. He's slow, he's an offensive liability, he's got a bad attitude, and very little god-given talent. Plus he has goofy-*** hair.

I don't know why we'd even consider this.

Why do people who make polls have to try and project their opinions before they allow people to vote?

My answer to this is a resounding NO, but not because "He is a bad guy, and we need to keep good character on this team."

NOTE to those who would create polls: Keep the choices simple. Let the responders make comments should they choose to do so...

Oh...

my...

God.

Danny Fortson a step up from a undistinguishable piece of road kill? Perhaps.

Danny Fortson a step up from anything else? NO WAY.

hes garbage..... why would we want him?
exactly, I could give a rats a** about him being a bad person, its the fact that he's garbage and always hurt. Adelman wouldnt play him anyways, we already have a guy who's better than him, Skinner, and he doesnt even play him, so why would we want to get Danny boy just to have Adelman sit him on the bench...'DNPCD'.

Please show me where I said he was a step up talent wise?

I said he's a meat & potatoes player. If he can ride the pine and come in for limited spurts - play solid minutes - then he's worth the risk. Abdur-Rahim and Thomas are both NOT bench players.

I'd rather a guy on the bench that IS a bench player than a guy that resents it or a guy that doesn't perform well off of it.

While KT is a superior player - his off the bench performance doesn't leave a warm feeling.

I don't think he's a step up in talent, but I think he'd be a step up in production off the bench. He doesn't need shots and won't hamper Cisco or Martin's game. But, I just saw his contract is 12MM ... no thanks.
