The Maloofs are not going to fire Smart. He's doing exactly what they want. He is making fans tired of this team, losing their passion and their love for the team. This will result in an empty arena, and they will have an argument to move the team. That's their goal. They don't give a xxxx about Sacramento, being competitive and winning here.
This team right now is embarassing. And what hurts me is that we have some talent, and with a good coach we could at least be competitive. Not a playoff team maybe, but at least a fun 35/40 wins team.
I spent 165 euros, more or less 200 dollars to get the NBA League Pass and be able to watch the Kings. Right now I feel like I wasted my money. At least I love basketball and I can watch other games...

* It's becoming a theme this season:
Jimmer Fredette plays.
Jimmer Fredette plays well.
Jimmer Fredette has to guess if he'll play the next game.
Fredette has played 20-plus minutes only once this season. Fredette has only played double-digit minutes in consecutive games once this season.
If that pattern continues, Isaiah Thomas will play more tonight.
"I'll try to settle down in maybe two or three games where I just lock into one guy and see how that goes," Smart said. "Obviously those two guys need to know game-to-game where they are."
Fredette has been one of the Kings best plus/minus players all season and Friday night's loss to Indiana was no different."
I agree, Jimmer has been our most consistent gaurd this year, Tyreke has shown he's clearly our best gaurd, but Jimmer has been shockingly consistent despite erratic minutes from a terrible coach. Jimmer has the tools to compliment Tyreke and Cousins very well, more than any of our other gaurds.
I was stunned to wake up today and see that Keith wasn't fired after the Denver game.
It's not even optional at this point "coach" Smart has to be fired. Bjax anyone? I'm willing to take the chance on him, why the hell not. I would love to see who his assistant coaches turn out to be. We need someone who some pride in the team and who would take these embarrassing losses personally.
It's very interesting that you mention Bobby Jackson. Has anyone else noticed how he seems unwilling to accept the pathetic effort that we've been seeing from this team? You see it in interviews. You see it in body language on the bench. The other coaches seem willing to roll with this poor play. But Jackson seems disgusted by it. If you wanted to roll the dice and fire Smart, Jackson could be the guy.

I fully endorse this post. Give Bobby Jackson a shot. Everyone thought the warriors were silly for giving up on Keith Smart so soon. Who's laughing now. The Warriors will destroy us this week. Send Brooks to the bench and start Jimmer with IT as the back-up. Aaron Brooks is a turnover machine with very little assists.
Unfortunately everytime you hear him speak in a coaching capacity he sounds like an idiot. Like he has no clue at all and is just there as a name or a face. None of our other coaches impresses as brilliant, but they sound like they know what is going on. Bobby...he sounds like an amateur commentator who's jsut been invioted to sit in with the team during halves or whatnot. And that comes from somebody who has always liked Bobby. But he sounds no more qualified than my dog walker. Or would if I had a dog walker.
OUr coaching is such a mess, but if BJax really is copletely unready, it could quickkly reach full fledged debacle again. We just cannot afford that at all at this stage. Sucha mess. We really need a true pro who knows the score and who the players will instantly trust to know the score. But the Maloofs are so putrid they can't afford one and no one wirht having would accept. Take away money and I'd go for almost anybody with an established clue at this point. I'd even accept Larry brown, who loathe. Well...Nellie would be goign too far. He'd jsut make things worse. But Brown, McMilan, Vand Gundy, Slaon... whoever. Get me a damn pro in here.
I'll take your word about Bobby Jackson. I've just heard snippets from him, not lengthy interviews. I agree about getting a pro in here. (I'm just not optimistic about getting one; hence the B-Jax thought). People can debate to what extent the lack of $ has affected the roster or not, but there's no debate that the lack of $ has affected who has been hired as a coach.
