Everybody available, who would you want to keep on our roster?

G-League
listening to 1140 they asked each outher this question. just curious what all of you thought.
me personally i would want to keep the youngins thompson, hawes and green and the vet i would keep would be francisco because he is the leader and clutch guy.

keep Martin, Hawes, and Thompson for sure. and I would like to see Garcia kept around, even though he's got a bigger contract than he deserves

Martin and Thompson. It depends on the deal, of course, but everyone else looks pretty expendable to me.

I think this would be about my priority - ties where applicable:

1. Martin
2. Hawes/Thompson
3. Garcia/Greene
4. Brown
5. Miller/Salmons/Udrih
6. Williams
7. Jackson/Moore
8. Douby/Thomas

I think I am in here too.

1. Thompson
1a. Martin, Hawes
2. Garcia
3. Greene - hard to say, but he is cheap and let's see what he has - "potential" slot here.
4. Brown, Salmons
5. Miller, Udrih
6. Williams
7. Jackson, Moore
8. Douby, Thomas

Jackson/Brown - Martin/Garcia - Thompson/Greene - Hawes/Williams

That's how it is in my NBA 2k9 Association (and 4 others not on the Kings). :D.

1) Thompson
2) Hawes
2) Martin
3) Cisco
4) Greene

rest, who cares

But even those 1-5 are ALL expendable in my book for the right deal. Rumors are that there may be an outside chance that Bosh or Amare may actually be out there. That's a tricky business, could mess wiht our draft pick, and neither guy is truly franchise, but I'd burn one of the young bigs to bring back a young star big. I'd burn Martin to bring back a superstar, although it would be better if you could pair them. No true untouchables.

I just consider the 5 assets above the ones I would plan on keeping at this trade deadline unless I could clearly upgrade. Everybody else who isn't tied down should be on the way out for whatever picks, enders, or bags of Doritos we can get.

1. Martin ( He has proved more then thompson at this point .. we lose him and were really, reallly bad )
2. Thompson
3. Greene
4. Cisco
5. Hawes ( A hawes trade wouldnt be that bad, we could get some value for him and then hopefully get a athletic/defensive minded big ... lets just say im sick of 'skilled' centers. )

I'd say Thompson and Hawes.

JT for what he has shown, and Hawes for his potential. Both of those guys could blow up in a season or two and be huge.

Martin and Cisco are the 'second tier' of untouchables. Gotta be a great trade to lose one of those guys.

I'd be bummed if we lost Cisco, but he could be a throw in that gets us a better deal if a good trade comes along.

Martin is great at putting up points, when he's on he's on. But he isnt the type to take over games and he's pretty much Redd part 2. If his shot isnt falling he's useless. If a great trade came along I wouldnt want Martin to be the deal breaker.

The rest....Firesale haha

1) Thompson
2) Hawes
2) Martin
3) Cisco
4) Greene

rest, who cares

Agreed, but with one exception.

I want to keep Bobby Jackson. He's an ender anyway, so there's not much point in trading him, and, for sentimental reasons, I'd like to see him retire as a King. Mitch didn't, Chris, Vlade, JWill, Doug and Mike didn't/won't... I'd prefer to hang onto BJax just because there's no real reason for us to trade an ender. Something could come up where he's a perfect salary match, yeah, but... it's not likely.

Yeah pretty much the majority.

FIRST CLASS
Martin, Thompson, Hawes, Greene and Cisco.

SECOND CLASS
The Bobbys and Brad

THIRD CLASS
Salmons

FOURTH CLASS
....

Nobody on this squad is untouchable, but come on, who are we gonna have at shooting guard who is better than KMart? We aren't getting Kobe or DWade.

Gimme Hawes, JT, Martin, Cisco, and maybe Donte. By next year, Spencer Hawes WILL be the leader of the Kings and I would sacrifice JT before I gave up Spencer Hawes.

1) Thompson
2) Hawes
2) Martin
3) Cisco
4) Greene

I would think that if Toronto were to deal Bosh to us, they would want a big in return. So it would probably take Martin and Thompson to aquire him. I could go for Martin and Hawes, but not Thompson. Not to knock Martin, but the shooting guard position is one of the easier postions to fill. We could just draft Harden with out first pick and move on without missing a step. Bosh would have to come with an extension though.

Bosh is a softie. It's no upgrade.

I just say screw it and trade everything except our picks this year (which will be needed to restock) and get Bosh AND Amare. :p

1. Thompson - sky's the limit.
2. Martin - an elite scorer.
3. Hawes - borderline - is it me or does he look like he plays in slow-mo?
4. Greene - didn't we trade Artest for this guy? If so, way too early to give up on him, although worrisome that his shots aren't even CLOSE in games (hope he's not one of those hits everything in practice, BUT...).
5. Browne - drives me nuts when he takes his lackadasical time setting up the offense. Also waits way too long at the end of each quarter to make his move - 8 seconds left, who do you think has enough time to throw up a shot? Yes, the same guy who's been dribbling the ball in the same spot for the last 20 seconds. But does show potential to make shots and has shown progress (kinda).
6. Everyone else - trade bait.
