Evans - PG or SG? And yes, it's this again...

Then there really is not much point in "discussing" it any longer is there? Your position is known, and filed in the appropriate receptacle, and you aren't going to really contribute anything new to the discussion. Worse yet, you are incapable of learning anything from the discussion. So if the sky is red in your world, well, sucks to be you, but not much point in discussing its blueness.
No Obi-Wan Kenobi, in my world when something IS red, it stays red.
You can't discus it till it becomes blue. You can only discus it after it becomes blue. See the difference?
In my world if I have an opinion and I feel strong about it I will defend it.
I won't go as the wind blows. Thats why I don't care about the tide.

Majority is not always right Obi-Wan. Ask Yoda.;)

There is a schism. Its called 4 titles. Something like 16 overall. And a major part of that has always been having the biggest stars.

The Lakers are the Kobes. The Heat are the Wades. And the Cavs are the Lebrons. If we have drafted somebody who can get us to the point where we are the Tyrekes in contention for a title every year like the rest, well hallelujah.

You want to bring up rings? How many more rings would the Lakers have if Kome's ego hadn't run Shaq and Phil out of town? And all the Kobe fans being behind such a setback? If it isn't for a lopsided trade, Kobe would still be the ego that killed a dynasty.

That still doesn't change th fact that they won four championships and are unfortunately poised to win more.

And it's also pretty irrelevant as to whether or not Evans is a PG or SG. ;)

I think the real point being made was that there are a select few teams who get to have a superstar around which to build their futures. And it's looking more and more like the Kings are joining that select group of teams.

Wrong! It is relevant. Why? Not for Evans himself, he is what he is. It is important from a teams viewpoint. Front office should decide what type of players would complement his game the most (I presume that we all agree that he should be the Alpha dog of this team).

the problem is that it was never red to begin with...it's blue and you see red and you don't want to see blue. ;)

Your opinion is too absolute when you don't care about the tide. When that happens...your reasoning and logic is lost.

I dont know about all that. Look at Shaq. He has left LA, Miami, and Phoenix on bad terms. Maybe he was the guy who couldnt take a back seat to Kobe? And Phil sure forgave him quickly.

If Shaq was still on that team they wouldnt have had Ariza or Pau last year. Or Artest this year. Or maybe they would have traded Kobe instead. What a horrible horrible move that would have been.

Im a Celtics fan and a Kings fan, you cant hate Kobe any more than I do, but he is a great basketball player, and the Lakers wouldnt have won squat without him.

Now to Tyreke. I think your going to get the best out of him as the Primary ball handler. Like what where doing right now. If he were to play a true shooting guard it wouldnt be pretty. Im not just talking about playing with Beno, because more often then not Reke still brings the ball up the court. If Reke was playing with someone like Nash, I dont see that working out. A good shooting guard can shoot. When you dont have the ball in your hands you have to learn how to move without the ball, and I havent seen anything from Evans that tells me this is something he can do well. Martin can do that really good, which is why the Evans/Martin pairing might just work out. You have to come off screens and make cuts to get open, this is a part of the game we havent seen to much of from Evans, but its hard to say he would be better doing that then what he is doing right now.
