I been watching Denver closely this year, and one guy who has really caught my eye recently is Evan Fournier, the guy has supreme bball IQ, crafty and above average shooter and when gets mins much like Manu Ginboli can turn games. I really think him and Reke as the starting PG/SG could work with ethier one being capable of playing each position.

It would give us a massive/skilled backcourt and Fournier would provide spacing for Reke and great passing. Has anyone else seen much of Fournier this season cause I would swap him with Thomas without thinking about it. While hes not a true PG hes more of a PG than Thomas is and has good size and decent defense/lenght people in Denver are starting to completely love this kid and I don't blame them.

I really think Kings if they can't draft a good PG should have a serious look at him while Denver is still a stacked team.

Its an interesting idea. Unlike you I haven't been following Denver in detail so I'm only able to watch some of his highlights. I'd certainly be interested to see he and tyreke on the floor. Maybe a trade with Denver?

Well if your analysis is correct it's a good thing we've tried to make the world think that IT is our franchise player!

Denver's the kind of team that could use a player like IT.

They have a ton of solid wing players, but they'll probably see how the Iguodala situation works out before making a move.

Not sure they would be interested in IT. They already have Ty Lawson, Andre Miller, and Julyan Stone at the PG positon. Of course Miller isn't getting any younger, so maybe your right. I like Fournier a lot and was impressed with him in summer league. My thought was to plug him in at SF. He's 6'7" and handles the ball very well. He's also shooting over 40% from the three.

That were my thoughts as well. I had never thought of him as a PG/SG. But I haven't seen him play much either.

Hes more of PG/SG than he is a SG/SF imo, if you have time watch a couple Denver games now while Ty Lawson is out and I think you will be very impressed by his PG skills. He reminds me a lot of Manu who is more of PG/SG type, but time will tell I guess.

The Nuggets commentary have been talking about him being real close with Andre Miller and picking up a lot of good things from the one and only, that combined with his already great natural instincts and feel for the game is a very good combonation.

After Drummond imo he will be the 2nd biggest steal of the draft in 3-5 years.

Just CRUSHED the Blazers in a rare start @SG although he played PG & SF had 24,4,4 and 3 steals tbh I don't think the Nuggets will trade him the kid is going to be Smooth Ginobili 2.0 its just wishful thinking atm.

how about drafting someone like Michael Carter-Williams ? 6-6 loves dishing and we would lock down the opposition backcourt with him and reke

It just shows how important a team's staff and organizational vision matters.

Fournier was supposed to be a potential-type pick, not someone who contributes right away. But in Den by the end of his rookie year he is playing like he belongs.

They have a great mix of vets and youth, a system that everyone buys into, and a coach whose experience and personality commands respect. You're right. It's vision, all the way from the top on down, and you can see how players develop into what they need because of it.
