It's a possibility, though I get the feeling this FO isn't really interested in European prospects. Not a good fit, but if he's BPA, take him and have the possibility of a twin tower set up.
As for Bulls and our pick, it's an idea worth considering, but I'd probably want both their first rounders. They may not want to do that, so I'd give them a future 2nd rounder. They still probably wouldn't, but not sure I give up 8 for 16 and protection taken away. Though if Capela was still available I'd consider it, and go all in on a prospect who could be the perfect fit next to Cousins.

Yeah, then the article mentioned Schroeder. Uhh, ok. I'm on the fence whether or not this FO knows what it's doing. This offseason should hopefully answer some of my questions.

I was just saying if anyone recollected what a 7-10 pick has gotten in the past and assuming the targets will be guys like Gordon, Vonleh, or Randle, what would teams be willing to give up for these guys? Honestly if Gordon drops to us, I take him, unless the deal is too good to pass up.

Um, had the Kings pulled out 5 more wins last season (including the Feb 11 loss to CLE), we would be sitting at #1 right now.
I never want to see losses. Root for wins and the lottery takes care of itself.
Or alternatively, if we'd won 4 or 6 more wins, we'd be in an even worse position.
I never root for losses, but there's no point pretending that a lesser statistical likelihood of winning the lottery is better. Sometimes teams luck out, sometimes they don't. Still better to have the odds in your favour (unless you're the Kings of course, in which case it doesn't matter what odds you have, you're still going to move down).

I think putting together a package that includes our 8th pick is more beneficial to us than keeping the pick. We absolutely NEED quality veteran players. Atleast PDA has that much figured out.

Yea but how good of a Veteran can we really get for the 8th pick? i'm not wanting to see another Chuck Hayes or John Salmons on this team........

It says " a PACKAGE that includes the 8th pick...". This implies that we would trade 1 or more players along with our 8th pick to sweeten the deal for our trade partner.

Vonleh if we're talking the no.8 pick (of those options, but he may not be there.) I kind of think we should trade down (perhaps with Chicago or Phoenix,) and try to nab Kyle Anderson and say someone like Clint Capella, or some big who can either board and swat, or stretch the offense (someone like Adrien Payne.)
