Doug to Clippers

I am shocked!!!

I was for sure Doug Christie was finished. I will for sure follow the life of "The Christies" to see how it comes out. Good for him.:)

Doug actually played tonight.

Only got 2 minutes, though, and missed his only shot.

Can't really get into a rythm in only 2 minutes.

I was always tough on him, but I wish him the best.

On Doug's first insert into the game he tried the typical Doug defense. Gordon was standing there and D.C just went up and hugged him, pushed him, wrapped him up... But then he got called for a foul. I wish him the best

He played 21 minutes tonight.

He didnt shoot well, only 1-5, but had 4 assits, 3 rebounds and 2 steals.

Yeah, I watched him play, too.

He had 2 steals from harassing Marbury. On one of them he dove to the floor to keep Marbury from recovering it and Doug ended up pushing the ball ahead for a score.

Same Doug, all hussle.

Man, I miss him.

I'd love to see Doug stick and stay healthy enough to play. The Clippers come to Arco at the end of March and the Kings faithful have never had the chance to give him a standing ovation as a thank you, since he left. I'd really like him to get that.

Good point.

I hope he latches on somewhere and can make a difference, as long as it isn't against the Kings. ;)

Good luck, DC. I still wear your "Thou shalt not steal" t-shirt. :D

I want to be there so I can be part of the standing ovation AND so I can wear my Christie jersey one more time.

:D

We gave Mo Taylor a Million. Could have signed DC too. He could have been the backup PG and the young kids could learn something from him. But - no. Much better to have Mo Taylor as a starting center

We also could have had Scot Pollard for nothing instead of Mo.

Imagine players like Scot and Doug who actually WANTED to come back and play here for nothing. Dang.

I keep thinking what K-Mart could still learn from Doug about defense.

Pollard would have been more useful than Mo, that's for sure....
