Dominate the competition:

I watched parts of the Shaq vs. Ben Roethlisberger show the other day and it was actually pretty entertaining and fun. I'm assuming this must be in relation with that series. Shaq is actually a pretty charming and fun guy once he's away from his old grumpy laker days.
Haha, us silly Kings fans. Shaq is awesome. He only became evil briefly when he wore a Lakers jersey.

Uh, I'm not quite sure about that. Shaq is definitely a tool.

Uh, no. I am not enamored with Shaq. Never really have been. Can't deny his basketball legacy, but just don't like him much.

Him being twice the size of his nearest oponent justifies as having a legacy? great guy for publicity/funny/quotes, hate him in general.

Umm, yes. It's very rare to find a person of Shaq's size who is also mobile, athletic, and skilled enough to be good at the game of basketball. And not only was he good enough to play with the pros, he was the best center of his generation, and outside of free throw shooting there were no holes in his game. (Jump shooting doesn't count because that just lay entirely outside of his game. He didn't do it, and he didn't need to.)

Taking away Shaq's legacy by saying he was just too big and too strong for everybody else would be like taking away Michael Phelps' gold medals because he was just too fast of a swimmer.
