Did The World End?

Man there is a lot of doomsday post today. I would just like to post this.

The Warriors are HOT right now!

2 Days Ago they BEAT a healthy FULL SQUAD Phoenix Suns Team in Phoenix! on the back end of a Back 2 Back. The suns being considered one of the top 4 teams in the NBA right now shows you how hot the Warriors are.

The Kings lost to the Warriors but big deal!

The Kings were missing basically 3 players after half time.

The Kings played an overtime game the night before!

The Warriors had the day off before.

I could go on and on and even complain about some of the calls in the game that were so obvious it was crazy and insane.

BUT I won't talk in detail about that because the Kings just lost, and it is not the end of the world!

The Kings right now are the most injured team in the NBA it is sad for us fans, but it is going to be a tough end to the season, baring the Cat injury and the Skinner injury!

So the Kings LOST it is going to happen. got to forget about it and get ready for Portland.

Yes, the Warriors are looking good right now. They should do well next year too. Baron Davis, if he stays healthy, is a difference maker on that team, AND a Kings killer, along with Richardson. If they can play like this next year, they should make the Play Offs. Shame they are in our division.
Thanks, Jim. I feel a lot better now.

The warriors when healthy are a playoff team!

They have a good young front line of 6-11 players in murphy, zarko and bedrinis who is only 18!

If the warriors can keep their core next year and not make a stupid trades they will be much better maybe even like the suns sonics are this year!

Which leaves us where, exactly?

The Kings when healthy are still in my mind a contender, BUT the Kings cannot stay healthy.

I hope that next year the Kings can have a good enough bench core that Adleman can believe in to take away some minutes from the starters and keep them healthier.

We aren't a contender at this point, healthy or not. Still above the Warriors' of the world if we ever have everybody on the court, still a perennial playoff team, but we have too many holes and the only thing we do exceptionally well anymore is shoot from the perimeter. Be a killer team in a game of horse, but this is competitive sports here, and this is not a team a tweak away from a championship -- its a team that in the past 12 months has more or less shrugged off its entire identity. We need a major overhaul, and a new sense of who we are and what we can accomplish before we can be a serious threat again. And that's going to take some major tinkering, the addition of some significant pieces and a full offseason and training camp to form up the team and get them thinking "we are the Kings, and we are about winning".

Just to throw a number out there, I would say if we have more than 6 guys back next year off of the current roster, its a bad sign that Geoff just doesn't get it, or didn't get the trading pieces he thought he did in the last 6 months.

warriors will be playoff team next year

i doubt it.

they have improved, but i don't think they are better then: the spurs, suns, sonics, mavs, kings, grizz, rockets, lakers or even denver. i expect the wolves to retool around KG, making them in the hunt.

i do see the warriors having a better year, but playoffs?? ehh i don't think so. this little streak didn't start until davis came, and we all know how injury prone davis is.

just my opinion.

personally i couldn't give a rats patootie about the Warriors loss or that they won the season series...when was the last time that happened? 1993 So ill give the Warrriors the credit here...they beat us fair in square 3 times this season...simple as that...

the Warriors will be at least a very solid team next year...providing BDiddy stays healthy (back problem NEVER go away)...but IMO our roster is still better than theirs...and i feel like had we had all our guys healthy both on Thursday and yesterday we could of won...they'll have a good team next year...but we're still gonna have a better team even then...my belief anyway
