All-Star
Stone Temple Pilots Core-1992
Wasn't on my list, but I have always loved this album.
Stone Temple Pilots Core-1992
David Bowie - The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars(1972)
So, Graceland was planned in this spot, and would look pretty good on my island. I'll have to catch a ferry to Capt. Factorial's isle ever so often for a raid. The gloves are coming off, and although the quality of this next pick may be lower than 4th round status would indicate, I don't trust to strategy that it isn't on the radar of others.
With my 4th selection, I choose my favorite album:
Live - Throwing Copper - 1994
Wow! I listened to the album seven times in a row....... I made 23 friends listen to the album 3 days straight....... at gunpoint - I'm on the run. I will go to jail for PPP.
If I'm going to be alone on this desert island for all eternity, there are gonna be times when I just feel like getting drunk and reminiscing about the old days of concerts and friends, etc. I'm pretty sure during one of those daydreams I'll hear a voice yelling out for the all-time favorite request song. So, since I'm going to be hearing the voice, I'd better make sure I've got the album ready. You don't want to disappoint the voices in your head when they're the only companionship you've got.
So, with this pick, I'm going to make sure I've got "Free Bird" on my island...

I'd gotten halfway through my write up for a different album, one that I think is in greater danger than this one, but decided ultimately...
Back to Black - Amy Winehouse
Well...
At least I can maybe take solace in having accurately predicted my own stupidity?
My age and the generation in which I grew up makes a lot of my albums fairly safe (except perhaps from my daughter).
