Darko Milicic interview

#1
Milicic gave an interview for B92 (www.b92.net/sport) and when asked where he keeps the championship ring he answered that the cleaning lady already found it 3 times in the laundry bag because he is too young and does not pay attention to things like that...

Sometimes I wonder about that guy ...

Dude if I had that ring I'd be wearing it all day!
Have you seen those rings? Ugh!!

I'd hide it away somewhere safe. And dark. And hidden where nobody would ever have to look upon the ugly thing again. ;)

But it wants to be found. Its master is always searching...

Nice video... my opinion on Darko is that he really doesn't appreciate very much what he has (not only because of this particular case). He's basically saying that his team's championship is worthless just because he's not a factor in it, and he's also been demanding automatic playing time for the national team and acting like a superstar. Obviously, coach Brown doesn't think he deserves ANY time so he is pretty much a bust so far and is yet to prove ANYTHING.
His game could be something special in the future, but his head right now certainly isn't.

what a loser
i wouldn't really agree with it. I mean, he is still young and all, but he also states in this interview that he feels that way about the ring, because he knows he didn't contribute to the championship. He says the rinf would mean a lot more to him if he could actually say that he did something.

And it's true.... I mean, he has something to show for, but the fact is that many people will always joke about the fact that he's got a ring and yet he sat on the bench the whole year.

That kid is just really desperate for some playing time
