Damon Jones is a free agent. He can shoot 3s and assist turnover rate is good. He can be our backup-PG. He knows our systems and can shoot last shot. He and Bibby worked together before. I guess we can pay half of the MLE for him.

well we're definately not gonna cut it if we don't sign someone. martin and evans don't look so promising. garcia is our only hope on the roster that can be a decent backup. i saw a summer league game. it was only 1, but in that game martin still looked a lil weak. didn't look as promising as i had hoped.

You really need to go back and read about ALL the summer league games. Apparently the one you saw was the only one where Kevin didn't really show his stuff.

As far as needing to do something, simply because nothing has hit the papers doesn't mean things aren't happening.

The league has extended the signing moratorium until next week some time. Until that moratorium is lifted, everything you're reading right now is tentative. It's not like time is going to run out.

It's like this every off-season. Why should this year be any different?

best Kings game they showed, was the only other one they showed vs. the Mavs. Where Garcia and Martin shined big. The clips game, Garcia did good, but Martin wasn't good.

DJ opted out of the final year of his contract which was to pay him $2.7 million because he wants more so why would he sign up in Sacramento for roughly that amount when he could have stayed with Shaq and Wade for the same money AND be a starting PG?
