Cousins is Mentally Weak

Not even close. That is 100% intentional. He leads with his right hip. Plants with his left, leads with his right hip. Watch him pushing off of his right foot.
It's unclear whether the hip was meant to body up or hit his knee. I don't think it was meant for the knee specifically, but he did want to bump DMC to get the position. I'd like someone to get a full clip of DMC/Dunleavy's exchange to read whether Dunleavy actually said "what if it was?" If someone said that to me, I'd give them an elbow too.

I've been following the team since day 1. I'm not going anywhere pal. You just can't handle the truth.
As I just stated ... megalomania, narcissism, delusions of grandeur. Take your pick. Ladies and gentleman, the quote above is exhibit A.

If there's anybody that speaks absolute truth on this forum, you're absolutely the farthest from it. On most good days, you can't find a coherent sentence with two hands and a flashlight.

Have fun thinking it's everybody else and not you. Ironic, because that's exactly what DeMarcus would do, right? Perhaps you you should rethink you stance on him as it seems you have more in common with him than you think. The big difference is, he's only 22 and actually does play high level sports.

Way to promote yourself on a Kings blog! We are all so proud of you!
We're equally as proud of the way you've promoted yourself as an *** on this topic. Instead of delivering your opinion with facts, you've decided to call people names for calling out the fallacies in your argument. I'm still waiting for the off-court rap sheet on DeMarcus, but I think you've missed my request because you've ignored me..which is cool with me.

You missed my point. Frankly I don't care if you sit around in gravy stained shirts continuing to watch the kings while complaining about their character, abilities etc to your bored wife and embarrassed kids. I just hope you are no longer on this board infecting it with your immaturity and negativity.

There was no way it was intentional. He had lost his balance.
Your a funny guy! No matter what Cousins does, you never give him the benefit of the doubt, but you'll give Dunleavy the benefit of the doubt. You'll give anyone involved in any incident with Cousins the benefit of the doubt. As for off the court incidents, I believe what others are talking about are any incidents not game related in any way. The incident with Elliot happened as a result of the game. Ditto the incident with Greene. In other words, they were all basketball related incidents in some way. I'm not excusing them, but none of them were incidents that happened away from the arena or the practice facility. He wasn't caught speeding doen interstate 80 at over a 100 miles per hour like Tyreke was. He wasn't caught at an airport with pot in his bag like Webber was. He certainly never went up into the stands and starting punching fans.

Quite the contrary. He's gone to childrens hospitals and visited with the kids. He's done a lot of charity work in and around sacramento, and also back in Kentucky as part of Calapari's charity work there. What he is, is a big guy thats immature, and feels misunderstood. He probably believes everyone is out to get him. Now you can claim that Dunleavy is innocent, but he's also a smart veteran, who knows that Cousins has a short fuse. I found it interesting that first, Smart put Cousins right back into the game, and secondly, on the very first play, Dunleavy comes over to double team on Cousins. Probably just a coincidence, but maybe not. I think Dunleavy would have been more than willing to get himself thrown out of the game if he could get Cousins thrown out as well.

Having said all that. Personally, I dont give a rats a$$ about the whole thing. Cousins isn't going anywhere. He's not going to be traded, despite your plea's. So embrace the future. Its a lot less painful that way.

I'll say something which might be unpopular but has a place in sports. Cuz is our franchise player. Like it or not, he's our cornerstone going forward. He and Reke are our two most valuable assets by a large margin.
indeed. and i'd like to point out one further fact that has escaped this discussion thus far: demarcus cousins has, on numerous occasions, publicly committed to the sacramento kings. he has very clearly expressed that he wants to be here, and that he wants to lift this team out of its mire and into another golden era. will he ever be able to make good on that promise? time will tell. but, despite all of the turmoil surrounding the kings on and off the court, and despite the fact that, quite honestly, a change of scenery would probably do him good, he has not demanded to be traded. in a league where petulant superstars force their way off the teams that drafted them, demarcus cousins, perhaps the most willfully petulant of them all, actually wants to be here, in small market, cowbell-clanging sacramento. it amazes me to no end that so many kings fans would gladly cast aside such a talent when he has no desire to be moved from a city that has not treated him well. he only wants the opportunity to prove himself, and uppity kings fans--who really have no right to their short fuse given this team's history of stumbling about--should not be closing those doors on him. we aren't the los angeles lakers. we aren't the boston celtics. we don't have some grand tradition of excellence for DMC to live up to. we don't regularly compete for championships. demarcus is not sabotaging a title run. he's learning--albeit rather slowly and in his own way. the fans just need to give him time. again, the irrefutable fact stands that, in 28 years, the kings have only drafted one individual with superstar potential. his name is demarcus cousins. my hope is that he is here to stay...

You'll see. There is nothing wrong with his knee. If there is ill eat my words
Again, how do you know this? Just because he may not have tore anything doesn't mean his knee isn't hurting. You obviously haven't ever suffered contact directly to your knee.

Coach Smart said today that his knee is bothering him and that he might sit out a game because of it. However, suddenly, you're an orthopedist and can proclaim his knee 100% healthy without so much as examining him. Did you practice medicine at a high level too??

I gotta ask, if it wasn't intentional, why didn't Dunleavy say so when DeMarcus asked him about it after the timeout? You'd think an innocent, unintentional accident would prompt a different response than "So what if it was?". I guess Cousins is probably lying about what was actually said, too, despite the fact that you can tell from the video that Dunleavy blew Cuz off when asked if it was intentional.

Is it just me, or does IT sound like a total douche?

Isaiah Thomas had to contain himself from laughing when told Cousins said the elbow was unintentional, then said he wouldn't comment

Ok, maybe I'm just annoyed that one of Cuz's best buds is just throwing him under the bus like that, without even acknowledging that Dunleavy's play could have been intentional. But I'm not surprised, IT would love to have Cousins suspended so he can prove what a hero he is.

IT isn't saying anything untrue, but I just feel that as a team mate and supposedly one of Cousins' friends he shouldn't be so quick to talk trash about him. Or at least call out Dunleavy for it. Rainmaker talked about team mates sticking up for each other when someone goes down hard. Not quite happening here.

Like I said in an earlier post, his teammates don't like him. That's why they don't have his back.

It's an example, not that we needed one, of how you jump to assumptions about people's personal lives. You have it all figured out, Padrino because he disagrees with you must be a failure of a human being and Cuz, because he can't control his emotion on a basketball court must be a bad person, a terrible person. Yet as we see, you were wrong about Padrino and are wrong about Cuz.

What's worse is you don't even debate topics and points made anymore. You just attack the individual. You lose arguments, have no ground to stand on and instead of offering evidence to back up your wild claims, you launch into insults. Quite sad. And if you're wondering, when I have kids I will not consider you a role model for them. Out of all your criticism of who is an isn't a good human being, you continue to carry yourself at a much lower standard than you hold others too.

BTW, congrats Padrino.

Ban me for what? Not liking DMC?
Sadly, you've finally crossed the line with me. You've just went on my ignore list.

Edit: By the way, the reason isn't your quote above. Your a smart guy, I know, because you've told me so. So I'm sure you'll figure it out... If you even care...

Don't Make Me Use The Bat
Looks like Dunlevy was just boxing him out and Demarcus wasn't expecting it. I can see how DMC thought it was dirty but I don't think it was. Just a good, hard box out on a bigger, stronger player. It looks like Cousins is telling Dunleavy that he is going to put him on the ground. Coach needs to sit him down when that kind of stuff is said.

In the future DMC needs to be much more stealthy in his retaliation.
Don't disagree with most of that.

Dunleavy could have helped by answering "no, sorry." But then again that wasn't exactly in Dunleavy or the Bucks interest.

I am upset that I'm on your ignore list. You're one of the few in here I respect.

Tsk tsk Rainmaker, you're such a horrible human being.

Here's our terrible human being off the court.

Posing with kids in a supermarket, on his own time.

NBA Cares program.

Summer camp.

Plays Santa.

Bumping into fan on road trip.

I'll stop, but it's a big mistake to judge Cuz as a human being based off what happens on the court. He seems to have the same heart and passion for spending time with fans as Webber did, yet needs to mature as did Webber at his age.

I was actually being totally serious. I really like Baja. I wish he didn't put me on his ignore list. I promise. I'm not being sarcastic.

It's just a shame that I get personally attacked because I don't like Cuz.
Its a shame that you hijack an entire major thread and make it about yourself. That's not going to continue. I assume you will take care of that part so I don't have to.

Can I ask you what I'm doing wrong? Am I not allowed to give my opinion on Cousins if it's a negative one?

was listening to grants show and he repeatedly said to trade cuz.
Grant is around these guys all season long and knows a lot more about what is happening then we do. For him to say trade Cuz, it's probably a pretty serious situation because he has a habit of not bashing players until after they are traded. This is unprecedented territory for Grant.

And, by the way, the opinion of Grant and most of his callers is the same as about 90% of the Kings fans in the world.

Please don't base your opinion of ANY NBA PLAYER OR ATHLETE off of what Grant says on his show. I would consider Grant the broadcasting equivalent of a message board troll. Says alot of things just to get listeners/shock value.
