this goes to all the s&m fans; congratulations on your under-18 european championship. you have beaten us (turkey) fair and square in the finals. the turkish basketball has still this finals hump to get over. i heard that the same team has lost all the 3 finals they have played in the last two years. it will take some time before turkey becomes one of those successful tournament teams, like s&m.

i only hope that this game was a rehearsal of the real european championship in september. it would be real sweet to play against the home team in the finals; might provide an opportunity for redemption.

by the way, i hear that all the top players of s&m are likely to play in this tournament as a farewell bid. strongest s&m team ever??
 
Thanks man. Very happy with this. Hopefully the seniors can do us proud as these youngsters have.

I am not sure about the strongest S&M team ever but it still should be pretty strong if no one else pulls out or gets injured. Peja has already pulled out but we could still be OK if we suffer no other setbacks.

Who is that Labovic guy? I've read he played ill and put great numbers in a gold medal game. That's a tough guy. How does he compare with other nba prospects skils and talent-wise?

Yep. Especially in the context of "under 18" championship.

It could get ugly for people browsing from work. ;)

He is very talented but about 3-4 years from NBA level.

Yes. There is a metallica album called in the same way (S&M), and maybe their worst album (IMHO). It is grand not to confuse......
 
Metallica's had a few albums worse than that (pick your choice since Black), it's basically their old songs with symphonic orchestra ... I thought it sounded cool.
 
in the s&m team i have seen, the most notable player was number 5; can't remember his name. i didn't think much of the "mvp" as he seems to be a poor man's divac (in that he is not even as half-talented as vlade). the guy is 18 but already looks like he is 30.

He is a center. Has to work a lot on his game. All tall kids in Serbia want to play like Vlade.
