There’s a track record of gifted offensive big men who are terrible at defense finding success in the league but at the same time it’s hard to picture Joker or Sengun or Domas crying two weeks into preseason because they fouled out of an exhibition against the Jazz. They’re all also somehow better at defense than Hansen.
