[Game] Clippers vs Kings 12/27/10 Game Thread

lol Cousins levels Beno.

Good drive Casspi!

Good to see Diogu back in the NBA. He's certainly better than COUGH Landry.

I hate how lifeless Cousins looks.

We have managed to suck out any emotion, fire, energy, character, and swagger that kid had coming into this league. So depressing.

Jackson just stood there and watched them dunk. Pooh hasnt hit a shot in about 5 games. Not sure why he gets so much love.

Every year lately we have a player who isn't all that special, who yet manages to have team leading +/- figures, just because they provide something that nobody else on the team does. A couple years back it was Justin Williams, then it was Sergio, this year it's Pooh.

Overall a decent half but I expect the Clipps to jump on the Kings in the second half and put em away. Really only Beno and Tyreke are playing pretty well.

I underestimated Westphal's saavy -- faced with a situation where his starters have been putting the team in position to win the game every night, before a long string of epic 4th quarter collapses, Paul figured out a solutin: just mess with the starting lineups until they no longer put you in position to win, and then no more worry about collapsing!

Brilliant.

Funny but sad. The kid's are clearly more talented then the Vet's - I'm mostly wondering why JT isn't playing..

Jim Ines just said "Our defensive strategy is to leave Eric Gordon open."

I'm not even joking.

So is that a bobblehead of kayteeee christensen? :(

If I didn't know any better but I wonder if this "Vet" lineup was a volley of desperation with him thinking his job is clearly on the line right now and hoping for a win to get some breathing room. It still may be the case but I remember this is PW changing his lineup constantly instead of letting these players mesh with each other night in and out.

I see Landry is doing a wonderful job on Griffin....

No, thats not fair. Griffin beasts on everyone. At least Carl is going right back at him on offense...

...Oh wait

If you look at the schedule, this game and the next are two of the maybe five easiest games left this season. If he can't win one of those... ugh.

I think what we are doing is going for the "First quarter collapse" by putting our fourth quarter squad in as our starters. This way Westphal doesnt need to worry about putting his starting lineup in at the end of games, because now the starters and the crew in at the end is the same.
